I have to say, this glaze recipe looks tasty... but an overweight woman putting about 2 cups of brown sugar on some fish doesn't exactly make me think of "healthy cooking"... maybe this recipe should be elsewhere.

I noticed that only about a quarter cup of the whole glaze was even used. Is there a way to pare the recipe down so that so much of it isn't wasted?

Yeah MsFruhauf - very rude. This video helped me -- I'm going to try this recipe next time I get my hands on a salmon.

I've tried this recipe and it worked out really well. I had to guesstimate at the ingredient measurements by watching the video. It turned out great. For me the biggest help was the advice to not turn the salmon. I used to do that when I grilled salmon and the stupid thing always broke up. This time I put it on and didn't lift it till it was done. That worked out well for me. Wish they did have the measurements somewhere though. I used a much smaller bowl and that amount worked out okay.

Would have loved to see the "Choosing Salmon (Video)" but it wasn't available when I clicked it.

MsFruhauf, why did you have to comment on her weight? If you don't like the recipe/video that's one thing, but the comment should have been kept to yourself. I hope you never take medicine or have something happen to you where you gain weight. Then maybe you'll know what it feels like. Have a heart for other people. :-)

Did you all think that maybe Ms. Fruhauf was making a comment about an overweight person in general and not the woman on the video. I do not think she was talking about the woman on the video, she was stating that a woman who is overweight may not want to put 2 cups of brown sugar on the salmon. An alternative may have been brown sugar made by Splenda. Don't be so sensitive people.
