This is a great recipe. I can't find it in the regular recipes and had to copy the ingredients out while the video played. Am I missing where the written recipe is posted??

It would be nice to have the recipe printed below the video. How do I save a video to the "My allrecipes" folder?

Would like to have a printable version of this recipe. It was also difficult to find a second time when I typed in the name to search.

I tried this recipe and it was great. When I first saw it, my first thought was to turn the page and forget it, but then, I like to experiment, so I tried it, and I'm so glad. Everyone loved it. I plan to make it often. For those who asked for a printed copy of the recipe, I have included it in this comment. I hope I got it right, but just to be sure, check me out with the video to be sure. Here it is: 6 Pears, peeled, diced 1 medium onion, chopped 1 leak, sliced thin, cleaned well 1 tbsp minced garlic Melted butter 3 tbsps flour 2 tbsps curry powder 1/2 cup dry white wine 6 cups chicken stock Directions: Peel, med dice pears. Chop onion. Mince garlic. Slice, clean leek well. Melt butter. Add pears, onion, leek, garlic. Saute 2 minutes or until pears soft. Add flour, curry powder. Saute until pears are soft, about 2 minutes. Stir in dry white wine. Stir in chicken stock. Reduce heat and simmer 15-20 minutes until the pears are completely soft. With emersion blender, puree soup about 2-3 minutes. (I don't have emersion blender, so I used puree setting on regular blender and worked just fine.) YOGURT TOPPING: 1 tbsp butter, melted in med skillet 1/4 cup scallions, sliced 1 tbsp sesame oil 1 tbsp honey 1/3 cup plain yogurt salt and pepper to taste Melt butter in medium skillet. Add scallions and saute until tender, about 2 minutes. Add sesame oil and honey and cook about 1 minute. Remove from heat and stir in plain yogurt. Taste and adjust salt and pepper to taste. Pour soup into bowls and top with yogurt topping. NOTE: I added 3-4 drops tobasco sauce and/or 1/2 jalapeno pepper to give it just a little bit of spice. I also used my own homemade chicken stock. There is no comparison to homemade versus store bought chicken stock.

Re: Written form of pear soup recipe. Notice the video was made by Handmade TV, yet the recipe is from http://www.recipezaar.com/Curried-Pear-Soup-336495 Perhaps this gives the recipezaar site some rights to the printed form of this recipe that allrecipes does not want to violate. Looks like such a delicious recipe, I'm going to save the recipezaar address as a weblink in my allrecipes recipe box and make this soup soon. Even our family's least adventurous eater has learned not to question things I make from all recipes.com. There are so many great recipes!
