Australian Wine Country: Tasmania

Renowned for big ripe reds, Australia’s white wines are turning heads, too.

Let's take a look at Tasmania's vineyards and pair some recipes with the wines being made there.


Tasmania is an island just across the Bass Strait from Victoria. In this cool climate, Pinot Noir makes a serious play for stardom in a style that is bright and crisp. Citrusy Riesling and Pinot Gris are doing well in Tasmania, too.
