Australian Wine Country: South Eastern Australia

Renowned for big ripe reds, Australia's white wines are turning heads, too.

Let's take a look at South Eastern Australia's vineyards and pair some recipes with the wines being made there.




This appellation was established in 1994 to identify wines made from grapes grown in any of three states in the South Eastern part of Australia: Victoria, South Australia, and New South Wales. Wines labeled "South Eastern Australia" tend to be inexpensive and are very often good values. The wines are blends of juice taken from across the three states.
