The Snapple “Real Facts” Sweepstakes (“the sweepstakes”) is sponsored by Allrecipes.com, a subsidiary of the Reader’s Digest Association, Inc. (Sponsor) and Snapple Inc. Sweepstakes begins 12:01AM PST May 26, 2009 and ends 11:59 PM PST August 27, 2009.

1. ELIGIBILITY: Sweepstakes open to legal residents age 18 and older of the United States, its territories and possessions. To be eligible to win, all entries must be received by 11:59 PM (PST) on August 27, 2009, the Sweepstakes Deadline Date. Entrants must have a valid email address at the time of entry. Employees and members of the immediate families of employees of the Readers Digest Association, Allrecipes.com and their affiliated or subsidiary companies, judging agents and promotion partners are not eligible. Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the U.S.A. Sweepstakes is void where prohibited by law. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.

2. HOW TO ENTER: You can enter this Sweepstakes via the Internet. Please go to http://allrecipes.com/Features/Sweepstakes/Snapple.aspx and follow the online entry instructions. You will be asked to submit your “real fact” about food or cooking Please see paragraph 3 below for Submissions conditions. Submission is not required to be entered to win. Only one entry per person per email address is permitted. All entries become the property of Allrecipes.com and Dr. Pepper Snapple Group and will not be returned. If multiple entries are received, only the first entry will be included and later entries will be disqualified. Each entry has an equal chance to win. Any dispute regarding submission of online entry will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry. “Authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an internet access provider, online service provider, or other organizations (e.g. business, educational institute) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. Allrecipes.com in its sole discretion, reserve the right to disqualify any person tampering with the operation of the website or the entry process.

3. SUBMISSION CONDITIONS: When you make a submission the following conditions will apply. All Submissions must be the original work of entrant and not previously published. Submission must not infringe the copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other intellectual property rights of any person or entity. All Submissions become the property of Allrecipes.com and Dr. Pepper Snapple Group and will not be returned. By submitting your idea you are granting Allrecipes.com and/or Dr. Pepper Snapple Group all rights, titles and interest in the Submission. Allrecipes.com and Dr. Pepper Snapple Group reserve the right to use your Submission in all print and electronic media, and to edit it for brevity and clarity.

4. CONTEST PRIZE: One Grand prize of $3600 will be awarded in the form of a check, worth Three Thousand, and Six Hundred US Dollars. Two prizes will be awarded in the amount of $600, worth Six Hundred US DOLLARS each, in the form of a check.

5. WINNER DETERMINATION: Winners will be determined drawn randomly from all eligible entries.

Winners will be drawn on or about August 31, 2009 and will be notified by email within 30 (thirty) days of the drawing and will be required to execute a Statement of Eligibility and Release and Payment Authorization within 10 days of receipt. Failure to provide documentation within 10 days of notification will result in a disqualification. Return of prize or prize notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification and an alternate winner may be selected. Entry and/or acceptance of prize constitutes permission for Allrecipes.com, Dr. Pepper Snapple Group and their agencies, subsidiaries and affiliated companies (the “Sweepstakes entities”) to use the winners’ names, addresses (city and state) and/or likenesses for advertising and trade purposes (including internet posting) without further compensation or authorization, worldwide and in perpetuity, in any and all forms of media, now known and hereafter devised, unless prohibited by law.

6. SWEEPSTAKES CONDITIONS: By entering, participants agree to be bound by these complete Official Rules and the decisions of Allrecipes.com. Allrecipes.com and Dr. Pepper Snapple Group are not liable for, late, lost, delayed, damaged, misdirected, incomplete, garbled or jumbled, stolen, postage due mail or illegible entries or for printing, distribution or production errors. Allrecipes.com is not liable for any technical malfunctions of any telephone network or lines, computer internet system, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet or at any website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this contest, or other technical difficulties or failures or other errors of any kind. Allrecipes.com is not responsible or liable for any injury or damage to an entrant’s or third person’s computer and/or its contents, related to or resulting from Contest. Any person attempting to defraud or in any way tamper with this Contest will be ineligible for prizes and may be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Allrecipes.com reserves the right to terminate or modify the Contest at any time for any reason. In such circumstances prizes will be awarded based on entries received prior to date of termination. The Contest Entities are not responsible for, and shall be indemnified by, the prize winners, against any claims, injuries, losses or damages of any kind resulting from acceptance, use, misuse, possession, or loss of the prize. Prizes will be awarded.

7. SWEEPSTAKES SPONSORSHIP: Sweepstakes is sponsored by Allrecipes.com, 3317 3rd Avenue South, Seattle, Washington 98134. Dr. Pepper Snapple Group is a title sponsor only. Allrecipes.com is managing and fulfilling the Contest.

8. AGREEMENT TO OFFICIAL RULES: Participation in this sweepstakes constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and Sponsor’s and Administrator’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to this Promotion. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.

9. CONTEST RESULTS: If you wish to receive a list of winners, a copy of the Official Rules, have any questions about the Contest, or you do not want to receive future Contest or skill contest mailings from Allrecipes.com, specify your request and send an email to CustomerSupport@allrecipes.com.
