Phyllo Chicken Packets

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2008
I give it 5 stars, my husband says 4..., I didn't have tarragon so I just seasoned it with pepper and some seasoning salt. I added chopped up mushrooms and cheddar cheese to the mixture. I also cut up the chicken into small pieces and used butter flavored cooking spray. Very simple and delicious!!! Definitely will make again!

Byrdhouse Blistered Cherry Tomatoes

Very good. I have always made these, but never with any sugar, definitely loved it! Hubby is not too crazy about them, he thinks all cooked tomatoes taste rotten...what does he know! Both of the girls and I loved it. Will definitely make again, and again, and again. Thanks for the recipe Sunny!

Didn't get as crunchy as I like, probably had too many smooshed together, but I did love the taste the lemon juice gave them!

I have had the starter for about 2 weeks now. My last bread did taste a little more sourdoughy this time around, can't wait till it gets even more aged!

Pretty good. Mine didn't have a huge sourdough taste to it, my starter is only a few weeks old, but it was pretty good. Will make again when my starter is a little more aged :)

Wow, great combination of mashed potatoes and cabbage. Definately a keeper! I added a little bit of cheese, but other than that everything else stayed the same. Very good, I even had cabbage haters like it!

Very delicious, a little like meatloaf, but the bacon adds a great twist to it. I microwaved the bacon for 2 minutes first before I wrapped it around the meat. Also, instead of ketchup I used BBQ sauce. Will definately make again.

GA Peach Pound Cake

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2008
Wow! This was good, I used canned peaches since I didn't have fresh, but boy was it wonderful. Made it in a bundt pan and it is already half way gone. I sprayed the pan with butter cooking spray then sugared the pan. I had no problems with it coming out great.

Sourdough Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2008
I read that this recipe was very forgiving...not for me! I used a prior starter I had made a few days ago, it called for the same amount of ingredients so I thought I would be ok...was I wrong! I don't think my yeast was very good so that is probably the main reason for my flop...I love sour dough bread, so I think I will try this again, and hope and pray for better results! And a better rating!
