Blueberry Zucchini Bread

Wonderful! Followed the recipe exactly, took longer than 50 minutes for my two medium loaves to cook.. closer to 1 hour 15 minutes. My husband kept saying how wonderful it smelt while baking and we both thought it tasted just as good!

Rice Cereal Energy Bars

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2009
Just made my second batch of these. First batch didn't have chocolate chips in them and I added coconut and some various dried fruits I had on hand. Those were a huge hit! This time I added the chocolate chips and notice that they melted the second the warm peanut butter goo hit them so these will definately taste different. I bulked this recipe up with pumpkin seeds, walnuts, coconut, some left over chowmein noodles (just to get rid of them) and some dried mango and dried banana. I also left out the white sugar and used half corn syrup and half sugar free maple syrup and I used organic crunchy peanut butter and soy protein powder in place of the powdered milk. I sampled a clump before I pressed it in the pan and it was tasty so I am pretty sure the bars will also be really good. <3 this recipe.

Frosted Banana Bars

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2009
Made these bars as a last minute dessert for visitors. Everyone loved them! Made my own cream cheese frosting using recipe from the AR site, definitely made these that much better as I don't think store bought cream cheese frosting is near as good. Baked up nicely using a jelly roll pan. Really yummy served just after cooled and frosted but I also agree with others who have said that after being refrigerated the banana flavor is enhanced! Will definitely make these again! Thanks for a great recipe, always looking to use those overripe bananas!

Fluffy Pudding Frosting

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2009
Lovely. I used sugar free cheesecake pudding and frosted a red velvet cake with it. It was the perfect amount to frost and fill a 3 layer cake with ease, and with the light, just-sweet-enough frosting there weren't big blobs of it left uneaten on my family's plates like there often is with store bought frosting.

Creamy Rice Pudding

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2009
I used leftover short grain rice from dinner. Easy to make and tasted really yummy. My husband didn't care for it but he said that rice pudding isn't his thing.. he's a little pickier than most but is a good sport about trying anything I make. I liked it and I think anyone who likes rice pudding would as well.

No Bake Peanut Butter Pie

This is the second time I have made this and the first time was amazing. They are in the freezer now so I will have to chime in later to give the results because I used splenda instead of sugar in this batch. I also used one chocolate crust and one graham cracker crust and neufchatel cheese instead of reg cream cheese. My kids said the beaters were amazing so we shall see!! Taking them to an end of summer bbq tonight.

It turned out great, though I would just sprinkle the coating mix lightly over the top and in the last 10 min of baking sprinkle some extra parm on top.

I love this recipe. I always add mozzarella into the stuffing. I love how you don't have to pre-cook the tubes either! This is so easy and when someone needs a dinner, I tend to make this because it is so easy to make a double batch!

April's Chicken Fried Rice

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2009
I loved this recipe. This is starter for fried rice. Be creative and add other things...carrots, peas, or corn. We added carrots instead of mushrooms and I used egg beaters for the egg and added just a bit of soy sauce! it was so good!! The kids loved it too. Other users were right when saying you have to do it slow. It does take awhile and using cold pre-cooked rice is key!

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2009
I love this recipe. I have passed it out to several people in the Pacific northwest that love Teriyaki chicken resturants that are on every corner! This is so good! And the only thing different I did was cook my boneless chicken in the oven until it was half way done and cut it up then poured the sauce over it and it finish baking!! Yummy!!

Easy and delicious. Using foil on the pan leaves no clean-up as well. The fish lifted right off the skin when I used the spatula to transfer it to a serving dish. Moist and yummy!
