Best Ever Popcorn Balls

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2009
My Husband, (The Baby), loved these popcorn balls. My Grandkids went crazy for them. The biggest surprize for me, was when my Father-in-law ate four in a row. Since everyone was so happy, I didn't change a thing. Thanks for a great recipe That's so quick & easy to prepare, with such a happy ending.

A Number One Egg Bread

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2009
Nice airy bread but to dry for our tastes. I will try this again and see if it improves. I will add a little more sugar, melted butter and not cook as long (I cooked 29 minutes and it was very crusty)maybe 20 minutes as I see others said. Wish I had read reviews first.

Marinade for the meat is sublime. The sauce is too hot, so made it a second time without the jalapeno peppers. This is a recipe I'll make for the rest of my life!

Avocado Shrimp Ceviche-Estillo Sarita

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2008
This is a pretty good ceviche recipe. We have made ceviche for years as Estillo said its great on a hot summers day. We enjoyed this recpe; but we are going to stick with the small shrip and instead of the katsup and worstirsire sauce we like clamato and tortilla chips. Thanks for the recipe it was nice to try it a different way.

Cabbage Fat-Burning Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2008
This recipe has been around forever. I remember it in the 80's as part of some heart diet and in the 90's as pee a pound soup and now wieght watchers has thier own version. Anyway this is a filling soup for a little while but after an hour or so you are hungry again and thats ok because you can eat more soup. Which is very low in calories. I have used ever vegetable you can think of in it. The variety makes it interesting and different. My favorite is to put asperagus, cabbage, carrots onion, celery and cauliflower together. I also use chicken or beef boliuon. I like this recipe but it's not one my family likes.

I could eat this every night! I used it as a side dish to a meatloaf casserole that I made from leftovers, and it complemented the meal perfectly. Of course, it's Asian flavor lends itself to complement most Chinese dishes, too, but you can do a lot more with this one!

My new favorite cake recipe! I used the shortening, plus a 1/4 cup vegetable oil, which made this my moistest scratch cake to date. I also had to use a little more milk than the recipe called for, but just these little changes made this the best cake ever. Bravo!
