About me:
I am married to my husband of 7 years and we have a 6 year old. I love to sing, and love to cook, so I usually sing while I am cooking! I am insecure about my cooking, but it does go well most the time. I find I always have to follow a recipe, otherwise I end up messing things up, sometimes something as simple as boiling water! Im really just kidding about that, but you know what I mean!

Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Reviewed on Oct. 23, 2009 by Carrie
Ok, this is seriously the best pulled pork I have had. I used Pork spareribs, instead of tenderloin, layered 11lbs of it into my slow cooker, seasoning each layer with salt, pepper, and A&W Root beer. I started the Nesco at 3PM and let it cook throughout the night, and at 7AM the next morning, I shredded it and added sweet babyrays. I then let it cook for about an hour more, letting the flavors really meld together. My husband took it to his work, where they ate it on wheat hamburger buns, and when everyone asked me what I did, when I responded rootbeer, they were very surprised. A very good recipe. One thing I would recommend is to watch the liquid content, because as the meat cooks, it releases liquid, and when I opened my Nesco this morning, it was to the rim with liquid, almost overflowing. :) Sooooooo good.

Turned out wonderful, so much easier than trying to mash potatoes when you have guests, make this dish instead!
