Banana and Strawberry Smoothie

If I could give this recipe a lower star rating I would. I love the strawberry-banana flavors together, but with a recipe like this, I think this person should be banned from any kitchen anywhere.

Avocado and Tomato Salad

Reviewed on Apr. 24, 2007 by Crystal_Kay
I made this salad for a company BBQ that was desparate for some healthy veggies! I omitted the onions and mixed in about 1/4 cup olive oil and vinegar dressing into the mixture. I topped a bed of baby spinach with the tomato/avocado mix; and spread croutons around the plate. It looked great and was gone in a flash!

Empanadas

Reviewed on Mar. 20, 2007 by Crystal_Kay
I used pie-filling peaches from a can for the filling. I cut them up into much tinier pieces, and the end result was great! I got a little frustrated while constructing the empanadas, but that was probably my fault for not working with properly chilled dough. I used to buy these all the time mexican tiendas down in Tucson, and I have to say that pumpkin and tres leches filled are the best!
