These are delicious and easy. Instead of steaming them I browned them in EVOO in a pan.

Slow Cooker Lemon Garlic Chicken II

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2008
My husband & I both loved this. It was simple enough for even me to make. I added a full cup of water like suggested by others. And I didnt have any bouillon so I used 2 packets from chicken Raman noodles. I added lemon pepper and Montreal Chicken seasoning (by McCormic) to the rub. And added more lemon then called for & next time will add even more. My perfect cook time for was 2 1/2hrs on low. The chicken came out juicy & flavorful.

Apple Bars

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2008
This turned out very good. I added some quick cook oats & vanilla extract before I added the apples & nuts. And cooked it just a couple of minutes longer then the suggested. My hubby loved them & wants me to get vanilla ice cream to go w/them next time I make them.

Marinade for Chicken

Reviewed: May 26, 2008
A wonderful blend of flavors.I marinated chicken for about 2 hours and both my wife and myself thought it was the best baked chicken. I chopped 2 cloves of garlic and added to the sauce. The next time I make this,I'm going to make a double batch and store 1 batch in the fridge in a mason jar for future use. Thank you so much for the recipe. It really deserves 10 stars, thanks again.

BBQ Steak

Reviewed: May 13, 2008
My wife and I both thought this recipe was very good.I used it on rib-eye steaks and cooked them in a skillet instead of the grill, still pretty darn tasty. I will use this recipe again, maybe on chicken, next time. Thank you.

Best Chicken Ever

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2008
I made this for my wife, and we both thought it needed a little heat. It has a nice tangy and crunchy flavor. When I prepare this dish again,I am going to make it with panko and mayo, but all in all,it is a quick meal for two.

Mushroom Barley Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2008
This soup had a lot of flavor. I added one more carrot and a few more mushrooms. If you want a good soup to warm your soul and tummy on a cold winter's evening, then by all means, make this wonderful soup. It pairs very well with a good crusty bread also. Dan.

Bacon Feta Beans

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2008
I made this for Valentines Day & it turned out great. It was quick & easy. I ended up getting the cut green beans that self steam in the bag in the microwave. I think they were by Jolly Green Giant. The shortest cooking time was 6 min. so I put it in for 5 1/2 min then added it to the bacon & garlic & added the cheese. And cooked it about 1 1/2min so the cheese didn't clump. I plan on making it again next week.
