Cream Cheese Won Tons

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2007
This was a good recipe, but I think I cooked them too long. Instead of clams I used crab, and I didnt need 3 cups of oil, only 2. Great with sweet & sour sauce!

Scott Ure's Clams And Garlic

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2007
This is delicious! I have been using this recipe for over a year now and have had no complaints yet from my family! I scale down the recipe to use only a dozen clams and add a little more wine, a pinch of red pepper flakes, a teaspoon of lemon juice, more garlic (I love having a garlic taste to my food) and cook a little bit of the parsley in it to get some of its flavor (I pick the cooked parsley out after its done steaming). When I make this I also make Clam Linguni with it and poor the juice from this into the sauce. I recommend The Best Clam Sauce by Jodie B. to serve with this! A great combination!

The Best Clam Sauce

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2007
This really was the best clam sauce I ever had, even better than what I would get from the expensive seafood restaurant thats in my town! All I added was some fresh Parsley and a pinch of red pepper flakes, a teaspoon of lemon juice, and used 2 cans of chopped clams. Another great addition is Scott Ures Clams and Garlic with it (I also added the juice from that into the sauce). My husband who cant stand Linguini ate practically the whole pot!

Teriyaki Chicken

Reviewed: May 4, 2007
This was a great recipe, I modified it for what I had. I combined the sauce in a saucepan and boiled it (used brown sugar instead of white) for about 5 minutes, then added chopped cooked chicken breast and stirred it over the heat for about 5 minutes. It gave the chicken the nice teriyaki flavor and the sauce was nice and syrupy. Next time I may use low sodium soy sauce or less of it b/c it was pretty salty. Thanks!

This was good, but surprisingly dry for having butter, peanut butter and banana. Good taste though and my friends liked it.

Renaissance Stuffed Mushrooms

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2006
This was a very good recipe once a couple of adjustments were made. Instead of 12 mushrooms I used 15, only 6 oz of cream cheese instead of 8 oz(otherwise you would have a lot of extra stuffing),and added 1/4 to 1/2 cup of seasoned bread crumbs.

Chocolate Zucchini Bread II

Great flavor, but was really dry. I had to add a lot of extra vegetable oil and it was still pretty crumbly. Maybe next time I will add an extra egg or less flour.

Chicken and Lentils

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2006
Wow! I've been trying new recipes with lentels and this one is now my favorite! I put the spices in before the stock to release their flavors. Next time, I might omit the tomato sauce (taste tested and it was great before the sauce, also). Wonderful both ways!
