These were perfect. As promised, they were crispy with chewy middles. I was hesitant about putting the chopped walnuts as I was looking for a pure form of a chocolate chip cookie, but the walnuts definitely add gave the cookie more of a well rounded sweetness and an extra pop of flavor. I followed the recipe exactly, but used milk chocolate chips by Ghiradeli.
If the cookies are too crispy without chewy centers, that means you are baking them for too long, and/or not putting enough cookie dough per cookie when baking.
