Honey Mustard Dressing II

Okay - so yummy. I tried this because I wanted to have a creamy dressing on hand and we were out of ranch. I don't like honey mustard dressing but found myself dipping everything in it. I used a stone ground mustard and it was wonderful, will make again soon.

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

This is a pretty descent cookie. I thought I'd try a different recipe (always use the one on the back of the chocolate chip bag). The first cookie was absolutely delicious but by the time I had my second it was super sweet. It's a 4-star because hubby actually really liked the cookie (the first one) and he only likes to dough, I was just making a couple cookies for me. If I make this recipe again I'd have to cut back on the sugars, but if I do that it might be the recipe on the bag, I'd have to check but I think the recipe is 3/4 c of each sugar instead of the 1 cup.

Pork Roast with Sauerkraut and Kielbasa

AWESOME! The pork was VERY moist and everyone loved this at my work and also at my wife's work. The kielbasa was pink inside but well cooked. I added caraway seeds on top and a large potato cut in 1 in cubes with a little onion between the layers of sauerkraut. For prepping the pork, I generously spread extra virgin olive oil over the top and sides of the roast. I used more than two sprigs of thyme . . . I actually did a light dusting of thyme. A very tasty and easy meal to prepare. Thanks!

Dad's Hamburger Gravy

Chicken Caesar Pasta

We REALLY enjoyed this. Didn't use the vinegar. It ended up being a wonderful light summer meal. Leftovers don't keep very well since the lettuce wilts. Definitely making it again this summer.

Mock Tuna Salad

This was different. I couldn't get past the bean texture, but it was a nice twist. I'll probably make it again since hubby can't stand the smell of fish. Thanks for the recipe.

Buffalo Style Chicken Pizza

YUM. Loved this recipe. I didn't measure out the dressing, just spread a layer of it on the crust. Everything was just delicious. DH didn't think he'd like it, but ended up liking it anyway. This had totally cured my craving that I had for buffalo wings.

Hamburger Vegetable Soup

This is soooo good. I didn't think it was all that, but after I made it a first time and I started craving it, I knew it was good. I've made it a few times, once I forgot to add the onion soup mix - it was still good, but it was missing something (hmmm, I wonder what it was :-). I don't usually have tomato sauce on hand, but I always have cans of V8, so that's what I used. It's kind of salty, so if you have low sodium broth that would help, but it's soooo tasty. Thanks for a great recipe.

Grandma's Sour Cream Pound Cake

This pound cake is very good. It's even better the next day. The only thing I'm not a fan of is that the crust ends up being thick, don't know if it's my pan or not. Still good. I've already made it twice and I will probably make it again.

Spicy Garlic Lime Chicken

first time I made this is was very yummy, but it had no kick to it. second time I doubled all the spices and it was definitely better. I only use 2 chicken breast halves, I served this with Death by Garlic and it was a great combo. Will keep making this dish, but this time with double the seasonings.

Pepperoni Bread

Very good. I've even changed the meats and cheese in this one. Worked well on our family day to the zoo. Will use again when we need to go out or even to the park on a picnic.
