Tiramisu Layer Cake

Reviewed on Mar. 10, 2008 by Jaime
Wow! Not only was this easy, but simply to die for. I made the frosting and filling the night before and the cakes the next day. I also doubled the amount of instant coffee in the cakes and made 2 coffee layers and 1 white layer. I used DH Moist french vanilla instead of white cake. I brought this to a dinner party and no one believed me that I made it. I put lady fingers around the sides and chocolate shavings on top.

Mexican Rice II

Reviewed on Mar. 1, 2008 by MamaTaylor
I'm really pleased with this recipe. I LOVE mexican rice and order it whenever we go out...I couldnt be happier to have found a recipe where I can make my own at home. It was way easier than I thought it would be and my whole house smelled so good. Instead of the can of tomato sauce I used a can of diced tomatoes with jalapenos and also added about 1/4 cup of salsa. I've made this recipe twice now and the ssecond time I realized I was out of canned chicken broth once I had started but I substituted with most of a chicken Ramen seasoning packet and one cup of water. I will definelty be making this regularly.
