We love this recipe! I do add more cheese as my husband is a cheese lover. Great flavor and didn't change anything else.

I added tortilla chips to the bottom of the bowls and sprinkled them with shredded cheese and then poured the soup over the top of the cheese. YUMMMY! Will make again.

Cranberry Sauce Chicken I

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2009
I substituted 1 cup of Catalina Style salad dressing for the Ranch style. We even used the sauce on our baked potatoes. I'd call it "Fantastic Chicken" when the catalina style dressing is used!!!!

Italian Roast Beef I

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2009
I used low-sodium beef broth and an 8oz can of tomato sauce in place of the water and bouillon cubes. I used the Italian dressing mix found on this website instead of the spices listed in the recipe. I used 2 tbsp. olive oil in the place of the 1/2 cup vegetable oil because I only had a 2 pound tri-tip beef roast on hand. I cooked it in the slow cooker for 5 hours on low....It was better than any other recipe I've used. Thanks for sharing it!!!!

Italian Dressing Mix

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2009
This is a great e-z recipe that can be used for many things other than as a salad dressing. I used Splenda in place of the white sugar, added 1 tbsp garlic powder to the garlic salt, used 1 tsp. lemon-pepper (not salt) in place of black pepper and eliminated the 2 tbsp. salt. The taste was great - will never buy bottled italian salad dressing anymore.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2008
These don't taste like your typical sugar cookie. Have to eat these with frosting other wise not good. To my family and my sister who has also made these, the frosting is the only thing that saves them. I have even made them with others suggestions, and still I'll be searching.

Cake Balls

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2008
My family loved these! AFter reading the reviews, I waited until the cake was cool, crumbled it and added the frosting. I froze the balls after baking and then dipped. Turned out beautiful. I made a peppermint cake, added fudge frosting. Dipped in both white and dark chocolate. Very well received by all.

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2008
This recipe was fittingly named... "Awesome"! It was very flavorful. The only thing I did differently was that I added a third can of the mushroom soup. That gave it quite a bit more gravy. I served it over mashed potatos... As Rachael Ray would say it was "Yum-O"!

Gulliver's Cream Corn

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2008
My mother has been making this FOR MANY, MANY years, and has always kept it as a "secret" recipe. She brings it to just about every pot luck dinner, simply because it is requested by everyone. Everybody LOVES it, and always asks her for the recipe, but this is one she will not give out. She thought she was only one of a few people in the world that had this recipe....I'm gonna have to break the news to her that her precious recipe is here for all to see...sorry mom!! =( ONE PROBLEM.... This version of the recipe says to use 2- 20oz packages of corn, but you should only be using one. It will not be creamy enough if you use two. If you're going to make a double-batch, (which we always do), then use 2 packages of corn, but make sure you DOUBLE the rest of the recipe. That is the ONLY change this recipe needs!!! I wouldn't add or omit a single thing (besides the msg for health reasons)! This is one recipe that does not need to be "tweaked" in any way. (This is a fantastic recipe, and I recommend it to everybody. It is NOTHING like canned cream corn, (which I dislike very much). This one is a FOR SURE keeper! You are priviledged to have this recipe!!)

Pork Tenderloin with Dijon Marsala Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2008
OH MY GOODNESS....THIS IS ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY PHENOMENAL!!!! YUM! YUM! YUM! This is my second time making it, and it tasted even better than the first time!! I followed other suggestions by adding fresh garlic and baby bella mushrooms to the shallots, and I also did not add the mustard directly to the pork before browning. I just threw some salt and pepper (because the sauce is so good, it does not need other seasonings), and then browned it in olive oil. I also did all the browning, baking, and sauce making in a cast iron skillet like "naples" suggested. What a fabulous idea! Made for easy clean up, while flavoring the sauce so wonderfully!! The pork was tender and juicy, and the sauce.....oh the sauce!! You may want to lick the plate when you're done!!" The whole family loved it! Thank you Koalagirl!! I will be making this for many years to come!! (and thank you to all of you for your suggestions!)

White Mountain Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2008
Just ok. My husband said it tasted like a huge pancake. I agree with other viewers, it had a corn bread flavor and consistency. Maybe I need a better grade of flour.?? I used a homemade cream cheese frosting on it which really saved the cake. But I could probably eat a shoe if it had cream cheese frosting on it.

Brazilian Chicken with Coconut Milk

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2008
This was very good! I wasn't sure what to expect, but thought the flavor collaboration sounded nice. It was definitely different than what our family is used to. It was a nice change from the same ol' meat, potato and veggie dinners! I did add salt and pepper, and used half the cayenne, and only one jalapeno, and it still came out a little too spice for the little ones. Great for reheating for lunch the next day!!!
