B.L.T. Salad with Basil Mayo Dressing

Reviewed on Aug. 28, 2008 by Jennifer
YUM! a new staple in our house. my BF LOVES this salad! I did tweak it a bit. I used sourdough bread for the croutons and drizzled them with olive oil instead of canola. I stuck them in a 400 degree oven for about 10 minutes until browned. I also used reduced-sodium bacon and low-fat mayo in an attempt to reduce the fat content. Otherwise - AWESOME!!!

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

Reviewed on Aug. 27, 2008 by Jennifer
I did tweak the recipe a bit due to other reviews by using 1/4c white and 1/4c brown sugar, and added fresh chopped ginger in addition to the ground. I was amazed at how wonderful the sauce was!!! I cooked only 6 chicken thighs and the sauce was just enough! I didn't use it all so I had extra to pour over the top just before serving. Wonderful recipe!! Thank you! I'm looking forward to trying it with beef and salmon!

Brooke's Best Bombshell Brownies

Reviewed on Jun. 10, 2008 by Jennifer
these were very good straight from the oven, but as they sat they gained a sort of grainy texture and they weren't as chocolatey as what i would have liked.. but i'm looking for something that tastes like a boxed brownie. all i can say is that they were good, easy to make (the batter will be very thick) and people seemed to like them in general. heat them up before eating!!
