Pecan Bars by EAGLE BRAND®

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2008
Made it for the in-laws for christmas since they love pecan pie and I didn't fell up to making a pie, and they loved it. It was easy to do and I actually liked it too and I don't like pecan pies. Sent what was left home with them and their friends loved it and now they want the recipe too. Like one of the other members I had to cook it a little longer too.

Slow Cooker Vegetable Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2007
Ilove this soup! It's my favorite vegtable beef soup. I disagree that it's heavy on the meat-I use 2 pounds of round steak when I make it.I add 4 cups of water, minced garlic, pinch of sugar, fresh minced parsley and a bay leaf. Some worcestershire sauce and a squirt of ketchup too. So delicious....really hits the spot on cold winter nights.

Amish White Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2007
I am a 6th grade teacher and I have made this bread every Friday for my students for the last 6 years. It is absolutely their favorite. I have to have three bread machines going to feed all the hungry faces that appear at my door.

A Very Good Cookie! I followed the recipe exactly, with the exception of using whole wheat pastry flour, which I highly recommend!I will add this recipe to may collection.

Deep Dish Brownies

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2007
I love these brownies! This is a very simple recipe. The brownies came out very moist and chewy. I used whole wheat pastry flour instead of all-purpose flour, which gave them incredible texture. I also used 1/2 cup of butter instead of 3/4. These brownies are great right out of the oven and even better the next day. Everyone in my household loved them, even my husband who normally doesn't eat sweets.I'm definitely making these brownies again!
