Cake Balls

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2008
Look no further....this is the fun, different, easy and yummy dessert you are looking for! The cake balls are a hit with every atmosphere and age level! My only recommendation....only use 1/4 to 1/2 of rom temp frosting. Otherwise you cake will turn to mush and then you will have mush balls. Ya, they do take some time...but they are fun and easy to do.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2008
Sooo yummy and easy to make. I halved the recipe and it made 36 cookies. Taste is heavenly, and they're just the right balance of crisp and soft. Used the Decorator Frosting recipe from this site which was wonderful as well - Simple buttercream recipe of butter, sugar, vanilla and a splash of milk. Awesome!

My husband used allrecipes for the first time and surprised me with this for dinner, fantastic. The blue cheese butter was amazing. Now I'm making him make it tomorrow too!

Broccoli Cheese Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2008
Yummy! Everyone loved this soup. My husband is a meat and potatoes kind of guy so he was a little bummed that I was making this rather than a stew. That all changed with the first bite! I used fat free half and half and added some cheddar and jack blend with the processed cheese. I also used fresh garlic rather than the powder. Thank you! Planning on making this for our family on Christmas Eve!!!

DELICIOUS!!! I must admit, with all the ingredients these took a little time, but they were soooo worth it. Delicious served with Amy's Cilantro Cream Sauce from this site.

Mini Cheesecakes I

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2008
Wonderful! I followed the advice of another reviewer, and used 2 cups graham cracker crumbs, 1 stick butter, and 8 Tbsp. sugar for the crust, and it tasted great, but I had WAY too much. Next time I'll use half that...otherwise these were fantastic!!! Topped with cherry pie filling & blueberry pie filling and served at a bridal shower - they were gobbled up!

Best Beef and Broccoli

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2008
This is the easiest really good recipe! I have been making this for at least 3 yrs, since I joined allrecipes. Its quick, tasty and a staple in my home. I change it up all the time adding different veggies or brown sugar for more of a teriyaki flavor. The way to make a cheap cut of steak stay tender is to cut against the grain of the meat and let the whole dish simmer for about a half hour. Its a family fave with the pickiest eater asking for seconds.
