Very good, I used 5 drumsticks and it came out yummy, just let it back for an additional 15 minutes. Made with rice and corn on the cob. Perfect quick mid-week meal

Chicken and Pasta in a Mango Cream Sauce

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2008
I added red bellpepper and fresh mushrooms to the sauce and used 2 Mangos instead of 1 (Delish) Also, I think penne or bowtie would soak up the sauce better. Be sure to season your chicken real good before cooking. I never thought mangos would taste so good in pasta WOW!

Sun-dried Tomatoes I

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2008
HOW TO STORE: put the dried tomatoes in jars and then fill up with olive oil just to cover. This is where you can get creative and use infused oil or put some garlic cloves, basil, capers, rosemary etc in with them if you wish. I've seen other recipes that say to store them for a couple weeks before using. Hope this helps.

Garlic Green Beans

I grew up disliking green beans, but my hubby and son love them, so I made this receipe for them and while cooking I tasted it and it was really good. This is a good receipe even for green bean haters.

Laura's Quick Slow Cooker Turkey Chili

It was so easy and soooo good. Added 3 cloves of garlic and 1/2 packet of taco seasoning, 1/2 cup of veg refried beans and a little beef broth. The chili had a cheesy texture. Everyone came back for seconds til it was all gone. :)

Gumbo Style Chicken Creole

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2008
I put all the seasonings in first along with about 1/2 cup of chicken broth put the chicken in last with about 2 bayleafs and I used file powder (how can you have gumbo without it) let it simmer for 20 min and served over rice. This is a keeper

The sauce was very good. I added more cornstarch because I like a thick sauce as opposed to a thin sauce. Overall a keeper

I added more garlic (3 cloves) and I used apple chicken sausage. The sausage is what made this dish. The flavor from the meat along with the blue cheese was a awesome combo. Amazing dish

Very good, I used this as a side dish and wished afterwards that I had made more. I left out the lemon peel because my husband doesn't like it and used lemon juice instead. I will be making it again.

Cherry Swirl Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2008
Wow - this is fantastic!! I also followed the Bisquick recipe and used real butter plus a tad more vanilla in the batter. There is a Cherry Marble Cake recipe on here that uses a yellow cake mix with pie filling swirled through it that's very similar but I really like the crispy edges of this coffee cake to serve to guests. I plan on adding the almonds next time. So versatile - so yummy!! This is a great one to take to work and impress your co-workers.

Cioppino

It was really tasty, but I would use diced tomatoes next time, the stewed tomatoes are too chucky. Also, the next day I ate it on a tostada shell like ceviche with a little lime and tapatio instead of noodles. Yummy!

Pizza Crust for the Bread Machine II

Reviewed: May 18, 2008
This is an easy & delicious pizza crust recipe! I substituted 1/4 cup whole wheat flour for 1/4 of the bread flour and I added 1/2 tsp. garlic powder and 1 tsp. oregano to the flour. My 6 year old LOVED it! I spread cornmeal on my pizza stone and pre-baked the crust for 5 minutes. Very tasty!
