Romaine Rice Tuna Salad

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2007
This was good my family liked it. Its basically just a salad with rice and tuna. It needs more to it. Next time I make it I would like to add cherry tomatos cheese (maybe feta) kidney beens, olives.

Shrimp Linguine Alfredo

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2007
This was great. I made this for my husbands birthday party and it was a hit! I did add some cornstarch to the sauce because it was not thickening quick enough. I kept adding cornstarch little at a time until it started to thicken. Delicious! Thanks

Slow-Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2007
Good soup! Hold off on the Cilantro for individuals to decide if they want to add it those picky eaters. Avocado, cheese, sour cream and fried tortilla strips make this a five star! Also I added a can of black beans which thickened this soup. It was even better day two!

Bavarian Style Meatballs

I could not believe something good would come from that combination of ingredients -- chili sauce? Sauerkraut? Whole cranberries? Well, I tried it anyway because it had such a high rating and boy was it yummy!!! Friends requested the recipe too - they liked it so much! Will make again and maybe for dinner instead of appetizers!

Chocolate Covered Strawberries

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2007
This was so easy to make (and easy to eat) I made 101 strawberries and stuck them on bamboo skewers. I displayed them in a styrofoam - they looked like chocolate long stem roses! Very cute display and I got rave reviews from other choir members! :) I will definately make again

Andrea's Pasta Fagioli

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2007
I liked this one: I used half the amount of pasta like others had recommended and added the parmesan cheese just before serving - I added spinach to this and cut up some kiebasa since I did not have sausage. My 3 yr old boy loved it! My 7 yr old was less impressed, but I cannot please everyone in my house! The pasta did absorb a lot of the moisture. I had cooked it seperately and added it the last few minutes of cooking. It needs something else.. maybe worcestershire? But overall I liked this one.

Easy Slow Cooker French Dip

Great recipe. I did think it needed something extra. The second time I made it I used both canned French Onion Soup and the dry Onion Soup Mix by Lipton. Had more flavor. Great recipe though, thank you for sharing. Our choir gobbled it up (without the bread!) Thanks again

Chocolate Rum Balls I

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2006
I love this recipe. I've made it two years now. THis time I crushed the crackers in a ziplock and then added all the remaining ingredients in the same bag and mixed it that way. After letting it sit for 30 minutes I formed them into balls and rolled them in powdered sugar -- it's sticky process but well worth it. They just get better with time.

Boilermaker Tailgate Chili

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2006
This is a good one. I omited the celery, and tabasco (figured if it needed more spice I could always add it later. On day one was very good. Day too almost too spicey to eat. On day three the flavors had mellowed and it was quite tasty! I entered it in a chili cookoff and won the "best chili" category -- it was a small gathering of friends and there were 5 chilis to compete with. Will make again. It is similar to my old chili recipe with the bacon (which by the way I made with real bacon) Very good! Thank you for sharing!
