Delicious Pumpkin Bread

I made this for my office and got RAVE reviews! It was so EASY to make, its virtually fool-proof! I did use dried cranberries instead of nuts, and I think I'll use apple sauce instead of oil next time. But those are my own prefrences. This is AMAZING just as it is!

Sweet Mustard Chicken Bake

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2008
This was excellent! I made it as an impromptu dinner the other night for my in-law (very picky eaters) and they loved it! Even my Chef brother-in-law approved. One thing I will try diffrently next time is, at the end of the baking, I'll take the sauce and boil it down to make a thicker sauce. As it was it was wonderful over rice!

This was my very first effort in baking a pie and it turned out wonderful!!! It was slightly soupy, but that might have been because my father-in-law couldn't wait for it too cool before cuting into it!

BREAKSTONE'S and KNUDSEN Cheesy Potatoes

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2008
Great Brunch Recipe! I have used this recipe for roughly 10 years and have taken it to my local Mom's Club (MOPS). Everyone loves it. And as a busy mom,it is easy to put together and make. It travels well. You can also use cornflakes as a topping if your children ate all your ritz crackers! Great recipe. I have used as much as 16 oz of sour cream with it to make it creamier, and have also increased the cheese to 16 ounces just so it makes it into the "double by-pass" category of food! The addition of bacon bits also makes it even better... ahh the possibilities are endless!

Very good. I also added about 1/4 cup to 1/2 cup soy sauce to the water to boil the pork. It turned out great! Thanks for posting the recipe. I used Cattlemen's Honey BBQ sauce and it was tasty! Will make again.

Herb Roasted Pork

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2008
I was not in love with the herbs on the roast (but didn't think it was bad either), but the glaze! mmm made up for it. I will be making the glaze again (doubling the recipe) to serve with pork again. Very tasty! Thank you for sharing. The pork is also great in a crock pot.

Knodel

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2008
I grew up in Austria and this is very close to the real thing (I have a recipe from there) -- For added flavor: fry bacon crisp (in small slices) and toss the bread in the bacon fat to give it more smokey flavor. With bacon they are often called Tiroler Knoedel (from Tyrol). Very good thanks for sharing.

Rich and Simple French Onion Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2007
This was excellent!! I made it tonight for dinner with full intent to move on to the main entre that I had prepared. I found this filling and satisfying. My husband who is not a fan of onion soups liked it! What I changed: I used sweet onions and carmelized them. I was a little short on the beef broth, so I added a can of campbells Onion soup straight from the can. I also toasted the french bread before I topped the soup with them and the cheese -- My dinner dishes were broiler proof, so I used the soup bowls I had. Excellent! Thanks for sharing.

Special Deviled Eggs

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2007
These were good. I would not call them the best I have ever had, but they were good. I will probably make them again. I may add chives next time to see what that does for the recipe. I used a hand held emersion blender to mix the eggs.. boy did that make it easier than mashing the yolks iwth a fork! If you have one.. use it!

Double Tomato Bruschetta

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2007
This was terrific! Like others, I first melted the cheese onto the fresh baguette bread (350F for about 7-10 minutes) and then added the topping at the event. I added about 1 cup of shredded asiago cheese to the tomato mixture. I really love the taste of garlic, so I increased that to about 6 tsp of chopped garlic in a double recipe! Everyone said it was a winner. A double recipe covers 4 baguettes for a crowd with a little to spare. Yummy. Will certainly repeat again!
