Garlic Butter

This was really great...I followed the recipe almost...The only thing i did different was i added 1tsp of garlic powder & 1tsp of salt, instead of 1Tbl of garlic salt....Very good......I will use this again, & with different things. Thanks :-)

Raspberry Chocolate Chip Muffins

Creamy Macaroni and Cheese

AWESOME!!!!I had no evap today so I made it with regular milk & I also didnt have any chicken broth so i used a chicken bouilion cube & water & it was still OUTSTANDING! We all loved it thanx so much for sharing!

Peanut Butter Noodles

My whole family loved this.We served it with terryaki chicken.I didnt have a few things so heres what I did....I had beef broth,,not chicken.I used powdered ginger because I didnt have fresh.I also used garlic powder,,I was out of fresh(time to go shopping LOL)I also used onion powder & more soy than it called for.But,,it was a great recipe & I will use it over & over!Thanx for sharing!

Sarge's EZ Pulled Pork BBQ

I changed the coffee to 1/2 cup, and added a good dash of Liquid Smoke. This made an excellent pulled pork sandwhich after topping it with a sweet slaw, and severed it with Bourbon Baked beans.

Jammin' Tarheel Chili

Made this Chili, but omitted the Mushrooms, and Celery...This Chili is & was AWESOME. It has a sweet flavor, witha slight bite due to the cheyanne pepper. Highly recommend it to anybody who loves a good chili. I also used stew meat instead of ground beef. Very tender, and tasty.

Buttermilk Chess Pie

This was a very good recipe, and so quick and easy to make. The prep time was much less than 30 mins even when making my own crust and I cooked it a little longer until set (recipes ARE just guidelines after all). This is one of my go-to pies from now on.

I loved these cookies. I used a little more cardamom and made them in a standard cookie shape with a whole almond pressed in the center. It has a wonderful exotic flavor, and it's just perfect for a snack with a cup of tea.

Oil Pie Crust

This made a lovely simple crust. I was out of butter and looking for a crust recipe for a vegetable pot pie I was making, and this was marvelous. I loved the texture and it was so quick to make, this is a keeper.

Lentils And Spinach

This is a lovely recipe. It's warming and filling and the aroma alone will make your mouth water. A few changes I made were: I was out of Onions so I used Leeks instead, I added more water because I wanted it a little more "soupy", and I added some cardamom because I find it goes well with cumin.

Butterscotch Gingerbread Cookies

This is a great gingerbread cookie recipe. I used a 1/4 a bag of white chocolate chips, because I don't really like the butterscotch ones. A couple of these cookies and a nice cup of tea is a wonderful treat.

Salmon with Lemon and Dill

This was a huge hit with my husband and he's not a big fan of baked fish... The dill was a bit much, we plan on using less next time, but it was a lovely presentation with some white rice (which I made into cereal for our toddler who doesn't eat fish). It is really easy to make; it came out perfectly and I've never cooked fish before. We plan on using the lemon/butter/dill as a marinade for grilling too. It's really that good.

Perfect Apple Pie

I have no idea what I did wrong... I'm always careful to follow new recipes to the "T"... But... My crust was so dry it was falling apart. I had to piece it together to cover the bottom of my pie pan, and it looked horrible when I put it on the top in pieces... The filling tastes fine, but the crust even after baking was not what it should have been... I will use this recipe again, but maybe just buy a crust. My husband loved it, but thought I was going crazy crying over a pie crust lol... Good recipe, I just can't figure it out.

Pumpkin Mochi

This recipe was marvelous. I used Splenda instead of white sugar (to "light"en it up a little) and it worked out perfectly, a nice crisp on the outside and a moist gooey center. This cake recipe is a definite keeper.
