Baklava

This by far was the easiest and most tasty Baklava I have ever had. I used pistachios (and ground them almost finely in a foodprocessor.) My friends and family just loved it and are asking for more.

Our all time favorite dish! One thing I do differently is sprinkle lemon pepper all over the chicken...tastes great!

Beef Nacho Casserole

Good recipe! I made it with the intention of it being a "main dish" but at the end realized it would be better presented as a dip. Took suggestion of others and added red onion to the meat while browning. Overall good recipe and will make again for a party or gathering.

Chicken Piccata II

Husband said it was one of the best dishes I've made! I liked it and it was quite simple to make. I too refrigerated the coated chicken breast for about 30 mins in the fridge. Will include in my monthly chicken recipes. Thank you!

Simply Divine Meat Loaf with Spinach

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2008
This was THE BEST meat loaf I have EVER had! I was even able to make sandwhiches with it the next day! I was kind of leary on the ingredients and was going to subsitute this for that, but I decided against it, and it was A HIT! I did use the 80/20 meat, and it was a bit fatty for it, so I would suggest the 90/10 instead.

Homemade Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2008
I wasn't very impressed with it. It was very heavy. I followed the recipe as instructed, but the bread just came out so heavy (and I halved the recipe). I will probably not make it again.

Garlic Prime Rib

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2008
Okay, so I gave it a 4 because I cooked it ribs up. I have never cooked primerib, so I did not know it was ribs down and the patee goes on the actual meat. (silly me) SOOO...the pate sounded yummy, and the meat was cooked perfectly, but I did not get to taste the pate because it was on the bones. I will make again.

Chicken Enchiladas I

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2008
I REALLY enjoyed this recipe and I am as authentic as they get. Being of latin background I was a bit weary about mixing in the sour cream but at the end it came out well! Not very hard to throw together and ready in a matter of minutes. I used both corn and flour tortillas... and both tasted good... although I do favor the corn because it gives it more of the authentic taste. Thanks for a good recipe!

Parmesan Baked Potatoes

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2007
My recipe rating is based on following the EXACT recipe. The potatoes were too bland and it could be due to the larger size cut. Next time I will cut the potatoes into smaller pieces to absorb more of the butter & cheese. I could see the potential of it being yummier.

Awesome Sausage, Apple and Cranberry Stuffing

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2007
My husband loved it. It wasn't too dry, or too mushy! I liked the tartness of the apple and cranberries with the breading. Will definatly cook this recipe again. The only reason I did not give it a 5 star is because I left the Liver out of the recipie.
