Three Cheese Manicotti II

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2009
Very easy recipe. I cut down on the basil because I'm not a huge fan and made my own sauce, but this was really good. My husband even went back for seconds and he never does that. He said this recipe is a keeper.

Thanks so much for posting this. I haven't baked a dang potato in so long that I couldn't remember the specifics. Much better than my quickie microwave way of doing it.

Spicy Baked Sweet Potato Fries

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2009
I thought they were quite good actually. Mixed them in a ziplock with some EEVO,pepper, garlic salt, seasoned salt (just a bit) and a teaspoon and a half of cayenne pepper. They were about as crispy as your going to get them unless you leave them in a bit longer but 20 minutes at 400 degrees one side and turn them and bake for about 23 minutes more and they turned out great.

Quick Yeast Rolls

I really like this recipe, the dough will be very sticky and hard to work w/ but DO NOT add more flour and they will turn out moist and fluffy! I did brush them with milk prior to baking and again w/ (sugar & butter ) mixture 5 min prior to being done. They were super good!

Tortellini Soup I

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2009
This was really good. I made it with Hot Italian sausage and I didn't have any red wine, so I added a splash of balsamic vinegar and a few dashes of red pepper flakes. Next time I make it, I'm going to leave out the sausage but that's because we aren't really big fans of Italian sausage.

I think that I left it too long in the oven becuase it was a bit dry. But even with this set back it was really good, will definitely do it again!

Hot Pizza Dip

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2009
YUM! This dip is so good! You can't go wrong when you make it. You can even make it with low-fat cream cheese and you can't even tell the difference. I didn't add the bell pepper to it and I baked it in the oven to get the pepperoni a little crispy and it is so good. I think you can pretty much add whatever you want and take out what you don't and it will be a hit!

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

This was very tasty. I only used one package of biscuits and threw in about 3/4 cup of frozen veggies. We ended up having lots of leftover filling, so I just used it to make a chicken pot pie the next day.

Prosciutto Wrapped Melon balls

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2009
I don't like it with honeydew melon. Tried it with the cantaloupe like others suggested. So yummy. Guests gobbled them up. You can really play with the presentation. I do a melon ball with a prosciutto bundle on a tooth pick or just sliced in cubed and wrapped in the prosciutto. Minus the honeydew i would give this recipe 5 stars.

Zucchini Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2009
I don't know if something was wrong with my oven, but the cake had to cook for about 55 min. before it was done. The center jiggled at 35 minutes. I was disappointed because it wasn't as moist as others had experienced. I put some pieces in plastic ziplock baggies in the refrigerator and it helped with the moisture content, but I'm still not making this again.
