Smoked Salmon Sushi Roll

So fun to make... I use wax paper to roll mine and I would really recommend the "inside out" roll with the rice on the outside. It's much better than biting directly into the seaweed wrap. I use a generous amount of rice to make a nice big roll and cram as much filling in as I can. Try "Mom's Sushi Rice" recipe from this site... it is superb!

Mom's Sushi Rice

Chocolate Frosting I

Really good frosting... I did add an extra tbs of butter (not margerine) and a tbs of honey to cut the taste of the powdered sugar. So much better than the store bought stuff. Thanks Tianne for the great recipe!

Bacon Mushroom Swiss Meatloaf

I have to tell you I have always said "I don't like meatloaf. It just sounds funny, Meat Loaf. But this recipe has totally changed my mind. WOW. Thank you for posting this recipe. I just added french onion soup mix and this was so awsome I ate a whole bunch and so did my grandson who is 2. Hours after dinner he was still grubbin on mine. My daughter and her boyfriend loved it. I now like meat loaf, well this one anyway.

Quick and Easy Pizza Crust

I just made a mac n cheese pizza using this dough recipe. It was quick and easy but the yeast flavor was a little strong. Next time I'll add herbs, etc. to the dough. My kids loved it though... thanks for the recipe!

Super Soup

I loved this soup. Me and my daughter were arguing over the last bit of soup, and I really was supposed to take it to my mother's house. I made it 2 days after thanksgiving. I froze the rest of my turkey meat that was left over and I am making it again this weekend. Maybe some of it will actually make it to my mom's house.

Egg Noodles

Exactly what I was looking for! The noodles have a wonderful texture and are the perfect addition to my homemade broth-based soups. The dough is easy to work with, and my children love to help shape it into noodles.

Grandma Ople's Apple Pie

i've used this recipe 2 times already and it is sooo good! everyone who has tried it raves about how much they like it. i add the cinnamon to the apples; its a tasty touch. just be careful when pouring the sauce on if doing lattace because the hot sauce can melt the dough and make a hot mess!! i'm using this recipe for thanksgiving this year. i love it thanks!!

Too Much Chocolate Cake

This cake looked a little intimidating at first but it was a cinch! i used the mini chips and it made the cake much moister because the melt more. i baked a 4 layer 12in round bday cake with this recipe and it was a complete hit!! Thanks!

Honey Baked Chicken

I just got done making this chicken for me and my daughter. I just made 2 chicken breasts. It was awesome. My daughter asked me how I made it and when I told her, she couldn't believe how easy it was. Now she has more confidence to cook.

Special Buttercream Frosting

This was pretty good frosting. My mother-in-law pointed out the fact that it didn't taste like butter and I should've used butter flavored shortening... but all in all I thought it was tasty and it got compliments from other guests.
