Best Guacamole

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2008
How can you have so much oil with a fruit that is naturally fatty? I can't imagine it tasting very good at all.. based on the other reviews most people left it out. I LOVE guac. but was just puzzled by this recipe when I saw Olive oil as an ingredient. Its more of an avacado dip than guacamole.

This recipe is great for lunch! I was able to make several more servings because of the amount of pasta. Easy, quick and filling!

Chicken Cacciatore

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2008
Absolutely delicious!! I loved it. I put in fresh garlic over the powder (2cloves) and didnt have any green peppers but I cant wait to try it with them in. It was so easy, super flavourful, and used pretty basic ingredients we normally have on hand. Thank you for sharing this recipe. I was very pleased :) I'll definitely make this again.. soon! *I've submitted a photograph too*

Best Marinara Sauce Yet

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2008
very yummy! I added fresh basil since I have it growing and some brown sugar as I do to any tomato sauces and I actually used RED WINE instead of white because red is all I ever have on hand. I think I put more onion than the recipe calls for and minced garlic too. (I didnt have parsley so that was skipped as well) It was so good, I cant wait to make this again. The left overs were even great spooned over toast and eaten up with a knife and fork! The flavours go through even more the next day. I can't tell you how good this is... I hope someone reading this tries it!!

Easy Broccoli Quiche

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2008
This was a delicious! I changed it up a bit as suggested by the other reviewers. Added 3/4 c more broccoli, cut down the milk to 3/4 c, cut down the onions to about 1/2 cup, added 4 slices crushed bacon, 2 eggs and 3/4 c egg beaters, mozzerella on the bottom of the pie, and chedder cheese on top. Baked for an hour. Turned out great! i brought this to work and people ended up getting seconds! thanks!

Cashew Crusted Chicken

This is a great recipe to make when you have no time to prepare a meal. Fast, easy and very little ingredients. I would give looks and presentation 5 stars, and taste 3.5 stars. Very good change though. Will make again. Thanks

Baked Ziti I

Reviewed: May 30, 2008
OH MY GAWD! I am a fan of baked ziti, and this is by far one of the best baked ziti I have ever had! I used ground turkey (a lot healthier and cheaper!) instead of ground beef. Browned it with the onions, added 2 cloves chopped up garlic and seasoned it with italian seaoning, ground pepper and Lawry's seasoned salt. Then I added the spaghetti sauce...I only had one jar instead of two. And I layered in a baking dish as followed: 1/2 of the cooked penne rigate pasta (oh I used a 12 oz bag), 1/2 of the sauce, provolone, sour cream, ADDED cottage cheese (about 6 tbsp), pasta, sauce, and the italian blend shredded cheese (the 6 type one), and then parmesian cheese(i only had the powdered). Baked it for 35 mins and came out wonderful! My fiance hates cottage cheese and loved this recipe! he didnt just have seconds, he had thirds! this is now my favorite dish to make and serve! thank you thank you thank you!!!!
