Red River Beef Stroganoff

I was thrilled to find this recipe--this is exactly what I think of when I think of beef stroganoff. My only modification is that I use one onion instead of the suggested two. Otherwise I follow the recipe exactly. I made this once without the sour cream because a family member has a dairy allergy, and it was still delicious. Thank you for sharing this recipe!

Beef Stew II

I took my first crack at stew with this recipe and was very pleased with the results. I loved the combination of spices, lemon juice and Worcester sauce. I had to use garlic powder and dried onion because I did not have fresh on hand. Also dissolved 2 bouillon cubes in the water for flavor. No Crockpot, so after browning the meat, I brought everything to a boil in a pot on the stove, then turned down to low heat and simmered for 2 hours. I added 3 cubed potatoes during the last half hour of cooking. They came out perfect. I think in the future I might add the carrots a little later as well, as they were a little on the soft side.

Baked Paprika-Parmesan Chicken

Excellent recipe for a night when you want something a little different but only have the basics on hand. Very moist, tender, flavorful and EASY! I have made this multiple times--I even tested it on my brothers who complain that chicken is inherently bland, and they were both impressed and went for seconds. I follow the recipe exactly, but cut the bake time down to 40-45 min instead of the stated hour and some. I give the recipe 4 stars instead of 5 because my crispy coating turns out slightly soggy and the bake time is off. It's possible that if I let it bake a little longer, the coating would crisp up, but I'm reluctant to try that because I would hate to let the chicken dry out.

Simple Time Pork Chops

I made this for our Thursday cooking class and it was a hit! I think it only took me less then 5 minutes to prepare and 35 minutes in the oven and they were perfect. I marinated them in salt and pepper and garlic before I put the butter and mayo mixture on top.

Pan-Seared Chicken Breasts with Shallots

Korean Spicy Chicken and Potato (Tak Toritang)

Jenn's Out Of This World Spaghetti and Meatballs

I only made the meatballs, and cooked them in my crockpot with a jar of sauce. They came out so delicious, and I made sandwiches with them. The only thing I wasn't to fond of, was the fresh parsley. I will definetely make these again!

Parmesan Chicken II

I didnt have the pepper, so I left it out. And I added like 3 teaspoons of water in the eggs. It came out GREAT. But I boiled it in water first so the inside was partly cooked. My first time cooking something other then cake and it tasted great! Will make again~

Better Than Pumpkin Pie

My first time making a fresh squash pie. Only made pumpkin pie from a can and advised against making pie from fresh pumpkin. I haven't figured out why it took me almost double the about of baking time, but it turned out wonderful. Will do this one again and again.

Slow Cooker Pozole

Very good crock pot recipe. I made a few changes as well such as lessening the cumin and instead of dicing up 2 onions which seemed like a lot, I quartered the onions and removed before serving. I used a pasilla chili but will use guajillo next time for a bit more kick. I also added some ground up de arbol chilis in my serving bowl for some spice.

Baked Garlic Parmesan Chicken

I added another clove of garlic to the recipe to where it only required it and also added a pinch of salt to bread crumb mixture. It was delicious! My husban loved it, I would make it again
