Pumpkin Cheesecake II

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2009
A good combo of pumpkin pie and cheesecake. Some of the steps seemed a bit unnecessary (some sugar in the pumpkin mix and some in the cream cheese when you're just going to be mixing them together anyways?) It was definately a sophisticated taste, and while I wasn't nuts about it, my husband liked it which is why the 4 stars. I also didn't care for the maple glaze which many suggested - wish I saved my money on the $8.00 bottle of maple syrup. Probably won't make again, but it was nice to try something new!

What in the WORLD!!! I have made several chocolate and french silk pies from this site and this is by far the best!! This cleared the pan faster than any of the other 10 great desserts at our Thanksgiving this year, which makes it a winner! Thanks!!

Ratatouille

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2009
Very yummy! I added some left over pasta sauce (about six ounces) because it seemed like it needed something, and it was the perfect amount just to lightly coat everything but not cover up the great veggie flavor. Will make this again, thanks!

Quick and Easy Pizza Crust

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2009
This was fantastic! Followed the recipe exactly. I did cook the crust for about 6 minutes in the oven before I added the toppings. The crust really rises while cooking so roll out your crust thinner if you like thin crust. I will never order pizza out again. This crust is a snap to make and tastes so fresh!

Old Bay® Shrimp Fest

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2009
We enjoyed this and man was it easy! I used peeled shrimp and frozen corn and everything turned out perfectly. Definately not underseasoned with the shrimp being pre-peeled, in fact almost a little too spicey for the kids. Only made a quarter batch with a little extra corn and potatoes and it was plenty for my family of four! Only four stars becuase it was yummy and something I'd make again, but nothing super special.

Perfect! I didn't want to make a heavy soup with cream or cream cheese so this recipe fit the bill. My family all loved it! Added an apple and some apple juice for the perfect touch! Thanks!

Double Layer Pumpkin Cheesecake

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2009
A wonderful, mild, pumpkin flavor in this cheesecake! Mine needed longer to bake and I had way more filling left that wouldn't fit in the crust. Next time I think I will increase the recipe by 50% and do it in a springform pan. Love this!!!

OMGoodness! This is so good, I think I am going to use this recipe to win the chili cookoff at church this year. I did add a whole jalapeno minced to the onions and the garlic. Oh, I am a cumin lover so I added a couple of tablespoons of that too, also a little paprika. YUMMY!

Chicken Cordon Bleu II

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2009
WOW!!! This was truly wonderful!! A definite keeper but do double the sauce. Followed the directions as written (except for the sauce doubling) and it was unbelievable!! The most surprising part was how incredibly easy it is! I served it on chicken flavored rice. Will impress all you make this for and they will think you spent hours on it. I wish there were more than 5 stars available to rate this!

Oh wow! This makes some good bbq chicken...I am sorry, but I did do this in the oven. It came out great. The skin of the chicken browned. I cooked it at 250 for about 4-5 hours and it was great.

Potato and Cauliflower Casserole

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2009
I have to say, my 16 year old was so mad when I told him that it was cauliflower..."MOM, I HATE CAULIFLOWER!" Then he tasted it, (making an ugly face the whole time) and tasted it again, and then again...when it was all said and done, he probably ate at least 1/3 of the casserole...too funny! It was really good. I will make this again and again. Oh yeah, I boiled the potatoes and steamed the cauliflower at the same time (over the potatoes in a basket).

Cumin Turkey Burgers

Loved these burgers...these are now my families favorite burgers. I put my burgers in the freezer for 2 hours before I put them on the grill. Not a problem at all with them. *One very important thing, I did not add an egg with all of the wet and only added 1/2 of the liquids.*
