Scallops with White Wine Sauce I

I thought this was too heavy on the wine flavoring. It wasn't bad, but wasn't great either.

Made this for fourth of july - everyone raved. I too added two extra cans of beans, and pureed both of them. I also added another can of green chili. I didnt think it was spicy enough, but then again I like hot food :)Topped it with cilantro, tortilla chips and cheese. It was great!

Fish Chowder

Outstanding! Made a few changes: Used 1/2 tsp. old bay instead of what's called for. Added 1/2 tsp. basil and used 1 1/2 lbs cod, 1/2 pound of bay scallops. Cooked the vegetables in bacon drippings. Really great!

Remoulade Sauce a la New Orleans

Used asian type of chili sauce and left the recipe as is (minus olives and salt) - it was excellent. I was looking for something like what they serve at Outback Steakhouse and this was pretty close. Loved it! Eating it with Crab Cakes tonight.

Carol's Chicken Salad

This was an excellent recipe. After I made it I was a little concerned because it looked like there was too much going on, but tasting it after a couple hours confirmed most of the reviews on this salad - excellent. I did make a few changes, no water chestnuts, subbed craisens for grapes, and subbed shredded "italian" cheese for swiss. Really outstanding. I didn't even notice the flavor of the poultry seasoning - it was just really, really good!

Clone of a Cinnabon

Excelllent! I even forgot the 1/2 cup of white sugar in the dough and it was still an amazing cinnamon roll. Also, the easiest dough to roll out that I have ever worked with. They looked perfect.

Amazing Whole Wheat Pizza Crust

Firecracker Grilled Alaska Salmon

Sweet Corn Cake

Excellent recipe - comes out great every time. I used creamed corn instead of blending up the frozed and it worked fine. It was a little more moist - I will go back to making it with frozen the next time for a slightly firmer cake.

Mike's Homemade Pizza

I've never made pizza sauce before and chose this one because it looked like it would be really spicy - it was just what I was looking for. I added a little more red pepper because I like it hot.
