Creamy Peanut Butter Fudge

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2008
Mmmm! Very tasty fudge. I just followed the instructions and didn't have any of the problems listed on some of the other reviews. I think I like it better than chocolate fudge...

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2007
I followed the recipe exactly (except I added some red pepper. And it turned out just like it said it would...but, it was too sweet for me and I was hoping it would be a lot spicier. Everyone else said they liked it though. Next time I won't use so much sugar and will add some cayanne pepper or something to give a little more of a kick.

Cheesy Potato and Corn Chowder

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2007
This was fabulous! It's got a little kick to it so, if that's not your thing than don't try this one. I followed the recipe (almost) exactly because I was making it for company and it was also my first time trying it but, next time I will probably make this one a lot more healthy by finding a substitute for the gravy mix and using real cheese.

Asian Turkey Barbecue on Sesame Scallion Toasts

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2007
I gave this 5 stars because it is so different from traditional left over turkey recipes and was very fast and easy to make. I thought this sounded like an asian barbecue and decided to serve it on ciabatta rolls instead of english muffins. Also made a coleslaw that I added hoisen sauce to and served on the sandwich. YUMMY! Next time I will add some fresh cilantro and maybe a squeeze of fresh lime.

Johnny's Biscuits

These were the most amazing biscuits I have ever made. I have been looking for the recipe that was close to KFC biscuits and this beats them. I love that they are baked in a cast iron pan. My husband loved them and that is who I am cooking to please.

I've made this twice within the last 2-3 weeks and both times it was just "awesome"!!! Both times I doubled it. The first making a layered cake and the second I made a single and a bunch of cupcakes. Also, the second time I added a cup or so of raisins. Thanks for this great recipe!

My Best Clam Chowder

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2006
EDIT: Thought I might add that I used cheap clams, That's probably why it needed more-even w/ so many cans, it still didn't taste too "clamy". Then again, I love clams!! END EDIT. This was wonderful. My first time making clam chowder and it turned out better than any I'd ever had at restaraunts. I used 8 6.5 oz cans of clams and I think I'll put 10 in next time. I put more of each vegtable than what they say...and about a cup more 1/2-n-1/2. Very simple to make and it was very rich and hearty.

Just thought I'd give this recipe another 5 star rating, just in case you weren't convinced yet! I love recipes where I can just pick it up for the first time, make it and it turns out awesome. This is one of those recipes. Very quick and easy. It's fun for kids; they love rolling the dough in the cinnamon/sugar. This is a great classic that will have the young, the old and the in-between coming back for just one more!
