Grilled Salmon I

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2009
Living in Alaska we get a lot of salmon. Unfortunately my husband is not a huge fan, he'll eat it but doesn't love it- until this recipe! Absolutely the best hands down! I can't say enough good about it! Important to not overcook as is always the case with any fish, Enjoy!!

Wonderful recipe especially is you want something healthier and different. Its so good and fun to eat and serve. It is a bit more work than my usual party food but really worth the effort.

This is every bit as good as everyone says it is!! Beware though you won't be able to stop eating it! Easy to make but next time I might leave out the peanuts or only put in a few, just a taste preference.

Parmesan Fondue

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2009
I made this fondue and another highly rated cheese fondue from this website. This one was gone completely and the other hardly touched at my last gathering. Its wonderful and easy and has tons of flavor without being overly strong and sharp like the other. This was my first time to make or eat cheese fondue and most of the people present were first timers too. Everyone raved about it. We dipped sourdough and whole wheat french breads and a variety of very lightly steamed veggies-brocc, cauli, baby carrots asparagus and new potatoes. We also did some fruit-grapes, pears, apples. I also made pigs in blankets with little smokies which I felt were a little tacky, but everyone LOVED them. Good party! :)

Cheese Fondue

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2009
This fondue turned out fine but has a very sharp flavor in mt opinion, and I like sharp cheeses. The white wine and the swiss-make a strong combo. If you like that then its good. (Also I had to add more wine so it was thin enought to dip in).If you prefer something a more mellow but still lots of flavor then try the parmesan fondue. I made both at my last gathering and the parmesan was by far the prefered by everyone. It was completely gone while this recipe hardly got touched. The parmesan also stayed melted better. I did use high quality ingredients as everyone suggested.

wow Im impressed! I was searching for a recipe that didnt use shortening or lard as I had none. I came across this and glad I tried it. It tastes very good! So simple. I didnt roll it or use plastic wrap. I just balled it up then pressed it into the pan.

Onion Pan-Fried Pork Chops.

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2009
quick and easy is what these should be named. Very good, family loved it. Thanks for adding this simple recipe! These are the kind I love. I was a little nervous it would be salty but they were perfect. I used 1/2 a package of the onion soup mix on 3 tiny pork chops. I only used 2 T of olive oil.

Yum yum yum! Put this over spaghetti noodles with sautéed carrots and onions. Hubby and I loved it. Only concern is that it was a little too thick...I added more soy sauce to my serving.

Slow Cooker Pork Chops and Rice

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2009
this is an excellent base recipe. I used pork roast instead of chops. I did 4 hours on the slow cooker. I added the rice 2 hours into the bake. I added water, onions, onion soup mix, peas, pepper, and a little more water after I noticed the rice a little dry. I didnt add anything else, so I didnt do this recipe exact. It came out wonderful. My hubby says his mom would put the rice underneath the meat so it gets all the juices and IS mushy, which they like. Since I added my rice late, and on top, it wasnt mushy. It was perfect!!!
