About me:
I am young and so new to cooking! I was not taught to cook growing up so I am starting from scratch! I was born and raised in Alaska and I am tired of eating so much unhealthy fast food (*smiles*)!

Maple Pancakes

Reviewed on May 7, 2008 by Kirsten
I followed the recipe exactly and don't think these are tasteless at all! I think it's the maple syrup you use that makes the difference. Anyway, these are the best pancakes I've ever made. I've used a few recipes from this site and wasn't impressed until I used this one. Just be sure to use the best maple syrup you have or can get. :D

Creamed Chipped Beef On Toast

Reviewed on May 6, 2008 by MAMASPICE
Comfort Food! Once I got the roux down (it took 2 tries), it was fantastic. I added the ceyenne pepper, seasoned salt and cracked black pepper. We used the Budding Luncheon Meat. Served it on toasted potato bread buns. I bet it would be great on biscuts! The boys scarfed them down faster than I could serve them. Goes down well with a BIG glass of cold MILK!
