sorry, but this recipe was really bland. I love pumpkin stuff but I was really disappointed.

Salisbury Steak

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2008
This was a good recipe! I think the meat could have used a bit more seasoning, but the sauce was surprisingly yummy. I did make a couple of sauce changes: I didn't have mustard powder, so I put a little bit of yellow mustard in it. Also, there didn't seem to be enough sauce for my liking, so I also added a packet of brown gravy and some water to make the sauce very thin. It thickened up perfectly as it cooked.

World's Best Lasagna

I have made this a couple of times now. The first time it was awesome because I followed the recipe. The last time I couldn't find sweet sausage at the store so I just used hamburger and there was a definite difference. Stick to the good stuff!

Grandma Johnson's Scones

Yum! These are a hit with the family. My extremely picky 7 year old loves them. I can't wait to try variations. I am going to try to make them a little healthier with wheat flour and maybe some oats... but of course will have to still put in the chocolate chips!

Excellent recipe. It's not spicy at all, which makes it a great base recipe. You can split up the batch and add some heat for the people that like it and leave it mellow for everyone else!

Ten Minute Enchilada Sauce

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2008
Excellent base recipe for enchilada sauce. SO much better than canned! I added chicken boullion to enhance the flavor and I'm sure I'll find all sorts of other ways to play with this recipe in the future. Thanks! ***A note to other recipe followers- New Mexico Chile Powder is VERY mild and really has no heat, so don't be afraid to use the full amount. I used regular chile powder the other day because I was out of New Mexico and it was spicier and not as good.***

Famous Chicken Adobo

Pretty good. Last time I made Adobo, I used my crock pot and the chicken was more tender than with this method- but this was pretty quick to prepare, so I can't complain.

i couldnt get the tortillas to roll, the just kept ripping. so i fried the shell by its self, flat, then pput then on a cookie sheet, spoon mixture on top, and cooked in oven for 10 minutes or so, served with guac and sour cream and salsa, it was fun to eat.
