Amazing Pork Tenderloin in the Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2009
Enjoyed this. Served it with instant brown rice, and the au jus was very good with it, and used some red wine vinegar instead of wine. Also made the house smell wonderful.

Carla's Fruit Dip

I made this yesterday and served it with assorted fruit. I was good enough to eat on it's own! I followed the other reviewers by using strawberry cream cheese and adding crushed pineapple.

Pizza Dough I

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2009
This was a great recipe. While, it's not gourmet-style crust, it's absolutely fabulous for a regular old meal and my family loved it. It was a total no-brainer. I put the ingredients in my mixer and let the dough hook go to town on it and just kind of forgot about it for a while, then took it out and made some great pizza. If everyone had an easy recipe like this on file, a lot less people would be ordering out.

So good! I can't believe it's so easy. I used the new Olive Oil Mayo by Craft because that is all I had. It was still delicious! Thank you!

Peanut Butter Cocoa No-Bake Cookies

These were awesome! My only change was adding 1/4 cup Karo Syrup (this helps the consistency, so they don't crumble as easily). They taste just like back in the day!

Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: May 5, 2009
These turned out great - I took the advice of other reviewers using 1/4 c sugar and 1/2 c brown sugar, 1 t vanilla, 1/2 t baking soda. Very good. I doubled the recipe and it worked out to be about 2 dozen - which was 3 points each on Weight Watchers.

Blackened Tuna Steaks with Mango Salsa

Reviewed: May 4, 2009
My husband, who never says WOW about any meals I make, LOVED this tuna. We used ahi tuna steaks from Costco. There were three of them and they were very thick. I made the marinade with a little less garlic and let it sit for about 4 hours because we were out golfing. I used only a pinch of cayenne on one of the steaks because our kids aren't into spicy and left out the garlic powder. Cooked on the grill for about 9 minutes each side (thick steaks and we wanted them a little more done). SOOO good. The kids ate one whole steak themselves and husband couldn't stop raving about how great it was. I made the salsa with pineapple instead of mango. Served with rice, veggies and a fruit salad. Great recipe!

Two Tier Strawberry Pie

Reviewed: May 3, 2009
Amazing! Everyone loved this pie. It was even good the second day, unlike others have said on here. I used homemade traditional pie crust. I did use 8 oz of cream cheese as some people had suggested. It is great the way it is but I think next time I make it I am going skip making the "gelatin" sauce. Instead I will half or quarter 2 lbs. of strawberries and mix with approx. 1/8 c. sugar and approx. 1-2 Tbs of balsimic vinegar. Let them sit for a few hours (this gives them a sweet but slightly tangy taste) then spoon on top of the cream cheese mixture. I will definitely be making this again. Thanks!
