Salmon in Creamy Silk Sauce

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2008
I made this and was impressed with it. It was easy and tasted very good. No bad after taste lingering on your palate. The rosemary and thyme just dance around your mouth. I would recommend that you try this. What do you got to loose?

Spicy Grilled Shrimp

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2008
This shrimp ROCKED. It had the perfect blend of spice and heat. Although it had a little to much heat for the husband. If you like it hot & spicy well this shrimp is for you.

Mom's Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2008
I just love this recipe. It is fool proof. However I did add 1/4cup of applesauce and two teaspoons of lemon zest. Amazing flavor. I also needed to increase the time for my region. It took 30 minutes longer. For the last half hour I had to increase the temperature to 350*. I am in Northern Nevada. !!!

Mom's Zucchini Pie

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2008
This was a very good pie. However I did not add the eggs right of way let the mixture cool before you add eggs or the eggs will cook. I also added fresh Parmesan cheese for extra flavor. You will see when you pull the pie out of the oven that there is a puddle of moisture in the middle. Put a paper towel on it to soak it up. I will make this again. Very easy recipe!! I posted a photo check it out.

Always a hit. This is a never fail recipe. The only thing I add is roasted red pepper. (the kind in the jar) I seems to add that extra punch that it needs and moisture. I make this on quite a bit.

This is a fabulous spice mixture! The warm spicy flavor of the cumin and coriander is wondrefully complimented by the cool heat of the black pepper. I simplified preparation by purchasing a bottle of toasted sesame seeds.

Pfeffernuesse Cookie Mix

The dough is a bit stiff to work with but the results are excellent! This is a spice cookie with a wonderful little "bite" that develops the main spice flavor. Excellent with a cup of hot tea.

Squaw Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2005
I was first given this bread as a gift basket item. My son who does not like dark or whole wheat breads just loved it and my friend used to make it for him. When we moved across country she gave the recipe to me. I have mad this recipe since then and everyone who tastes it just loves it. I don't think it is intended to rise to quite double since it is a slightly denser type bread. We just love it!!
