Ive made this a couple times now and it is very good. It helps to change up things a bit with kids. I use french bread and we never have leftovers.

I followed this recipe with the exception that I added a little sliced purple onion when I added the garlic to the chicken. It was absolutely delicious !!!!! So tasty and juicy, I served it over wheat noodles with a side salad. This will be a regular in my gouse.

I used frozen green beans and cooked them first to make them tender then mixed everything together. It turned out better than I thought it would.

Delicious savory crepes. I do not use wheat but I found Dosa Flour (a blend of rice and bean fours) at a local East Indian market. Best eaten fresh out of the skillet.

Best Ever Popcorn Balls

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2008
For me, this recipe is very good. However, you have to wait till the mixture comes to a soft ball stage. -Very soft if you want them to not be too hard! Soft ball stage & then mix with popcorn. Many times if the recipe says to just bring to a boil & then mix, it won't form balls & you get that big gooey mess I hear about. Hope this helps.

Marshmallow Popcorn Balls

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2008
I like these & more importantly, my son adores them because as well as tasting good they aren't hard! However, I did change it a bit. Before adding marshmallows, I put in 3/4 cup of Karo syrup with butter & cooked till it was "hard ball stage" (when dropped into cold water) then I put in mallows & 1/2 cup brown sugar. It was a light caramel taste, coated well & I could easily form into balls! Yay

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2008
I LOVE this recipe. It went over well with my family & we will be making this again!! I do agree... Sauce mixture on top (I put a drizzle on bottom of pan, 1/4 cup in meatloaf & the rest on top) Of course I doubled the sauce. Also, a dash of cayenne & worcheshire in sauce. Very finely chopped celery, carrots & green onion really add to this (My son didn't even notice the additions! I guess I chopped well.) Either add bread on bottom or be prepared to drain some grease off!! The taste is great, a little sweet, but if you only add half the sugar it also works! Yay!

Scrambled Eggs a la Jan

These are GREAT! -However, if you don't like shrimp scampi then you probably won't like these. The wine & garlic makes these perfect. If you want to add shrimp & a little green onion it would taste great. I plan on doing so next time I make these!

Very, Very good! You can play with the cheese if you want (use a bit of Feta), add more bacon or more onion depending on your preferences. We loved this. The breasts turned out really juicy.

Aunt Millie's Broccoli Casserole

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2008
This recipes as is is simply not very good! If you read a few of the reviews you will see that most people liked it AFTER they changed alot of things. I would highly recommend that you watch the broccoli closely (don't want to overcook), tone down BOTH the salt & pepper (I thought the pepper would be o.k., but NO), the cheese should not be american & lastly change the topping to buttered saltines/Ritz -anything that you like (NOT croutons)
