Best Cream Of Broccoli Soup

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2009
This was pretty good but it was missing something. The only change I made was I put 2 garlic cloves in the onion/celery mix. The broccoli did take about 25 minutes to become soft. Next time I will leave broccoli chunks also. I ate it with crackers cause it was a tad bit bland. Boyfriend thought it was fabulous!

No Time to Cook Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2009
I did season the chicken first with garlic powder, minced cloves of garlic, spritz of oregano, paprika, poultry seasoning, salt & pepper and i mixed the soup mix with minced onions(ran out of regular onions)1/2 cup of plain yogurt and a little bit of water and milk. I mixed it in the crockpot then covered the mix over the chicken. Cooked on low setting. Turned out great! It was even better as leftovers.

This was yummy! I did use black beans and a can of green chilies. I also just threw everything in the crockpot. Cooked on high for 4 hours and it was fantastic and super easy, couldn't ask for anything more.

Black Bean and Rice Enchiladas

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2009
Very good for healthy eating! I did add some lean ground beef, can of green chilis, 8 oz can of tomato sauce, 1 cup of rice. Due to adding the meat I had something to make it more saucy and I only had one can of tom & chili so I had to elaborate.YUMMY!

I like the idea of this recipe but I realized that I don't like garbonzo beans and it was a little too vinegary. Thanks for the recipe, just not my style.

Mongolian Strawberry-Orange Juice Smoothie

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2009
The taste was very tart, but I didn't add sugar because I'm trying to eat/drink healthy. I also find that the ice cubs make it hard to blend, maybe my blender just sucks. Otherwise it was good. Boyfriend loved it more than me.

Baked Honey Mustard Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2009
Considering Im not a huge mustard fan this was pretty good. I used dijon mustard instead. I also cut slits in the chicken and treat it like a marinade. Some people said there wasn't enough sauce, I had quite a bit. The flavor was different but great. My man really loved it and couldn't stop eating the chicken. In my book, it's a winner!!

Shrimp Scampi Bake

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2009
I followed the recipe exactly as it calls for the first time. I cooked it for about 9 minutes. They turned out good but it was a bit too buttery. The next time I made it, I added 3/4 cup of butter, double garlic, extra lemon juice, and a spritz of crushed red peppers. I also turned the oven down to 400 degrees and cooked a few minutes longer to let the flavor soak in. Excellent!! I have also tried it with minced garlic, does not have the same great flavor. Won't use minced again!
