This is the first time i've cooked moose. Although moose is lean, this was nice and moist. Great flavor.

I LOVE THIS RECIPE. MY HUSBAND IS VERY PICKY AND REFUSES TO EAT CORN IN ANYTHING. (HE SAYS IT'S LIKE PUTTING PEACHES IN STEW, YOU JUST DON'T DO IT.) HE TRIED THIS AND LOVED IT! I CAN FINALLY HAVE CORN IN SOMETHING. I'M SO EXCITED!

Chicken with Garlic, Basil, and Parsley

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2007
Excellent recipie, especially considering how easy it is to make. I followed some of the other suggestions and added Basil/Tomato Feta Cheese and Basalmic Vinegar to it and it was wonderful. I used minced garlic instead of the garlic slices also. My family thought the pepper was a bit much, so next time I will cook it without the crushed pepper, but it was excellent.

I have never had anything like this before. I have always been a, "gimmie my steak plain" kinda guy. I loved this. The flavors were excellent and made the steak "sizzle". Highly recommend.

Very easy to follow, wonderful taste! I added a bit of sour cream and cheese to my bowl and it was delicious with tortilla chips! I also followed previous suggestions to cook in the crockpot on low for 4 hours. Convenient and tasty!

Golden Rum Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2007
Very good! I made this for my husband's birthday as he is an avid Captain Morgan's Fan. I followed previous recommendations and used the Pillsbury cake mix with the pudding included and cut down to 3 eggs and 1/3 cup oil as well as followed the submitter's suggestion on glazing. The cake turned out nice and moist, however it wasn't as "rumm-y" as my husband and I were hoping. Next time I think I'm going to make this cake up a few days earlier and really let it soak in the glaze, plus I'm going to up the rum a little and see how that works out.

Adobo Sirloin

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2007
This recipe produces a great flavor, but we felt it would be better served with something like fajitas rather than as a stand alone dish. The flavor was good, but not right for plain steak, and my family that didn't like hot things didn't care for it plain either. I do think it would be excellent as a spice for your fajita mix though.

Bermuda Spinach Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2007
The salad itself needed more fixin's to go with the amount of spinach that was in the recipe. Also I think we used too much onion as the onion flavor was very strong. Will try it again and either reduce the amount of spinach or increase the amount of fixin's inside.

Pork Chop and Feta Skillet

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2007
Loved the recipe! My family of picky eaters all liked the flavor and the pork chops disappeared for once. Stuffed the chops with some of the cheese and it added an extra layer of wow to our thick chops. We will use it again.
