Amazing on warm pita bread!!! I used pickles in place of pepperoncini and it was amazing! Thanks for this wonderful recipe - I will continue making this frequently.

Feta Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2008
I sorta combined this with the recipe for mediterranean chicken. Instead of greasing pan added 1:1 lemon juice and olive oil. Instead of bread crumbs used italian bread crumbs 2:1 parmesan cheese. Also added 1/2 pckg neufatchel cheese (like cream cheese) softened with the blue cheese and 1 teaspoonful garlic powder with the cheese. Secured the rolls with toothpics and the result after 25 minutes was absolutely wonderful. This is an easy quick and absolutely delicious recipe - 5 stars is almost not enough!!!

Brown Sugar Banana Nut Bread II

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2008
So I did alter the recipe a little, so I don't blame the recipe of how it turned out, and for some people it was probably a awesome recipe. I checked all of the ratings before I started the recipe and there was a great number of reviews that mentioned it didn't cook all the way and that it needed another cup of flour. So I added a extra cup of flour, and I added 3/4 cup of each chopped walnuts and chocolate chips. The bread came out done, my husband even thought it was burned until I told him it had brown sugar in it. The main issue is that I love very moist banana bread, and this was not moist at all. It was very dry and little sweetness flavor in it. I think it needed another banana and maybe a little less flour than the xtra cup. Some people like their bread dry instead of super moist. I am affraid if I hadn't added that flour I may have had uncooked bread, but it didn't need an entire xtra cup. All bread machines are different when they cook, so maybe that was why everyone had some of the different issues. With the walnuts and chocolate chips it needed to be a little more moist and probably another banana! Thanks for the recipe! It is defininately something I can work with to make what I want! Keep rollin in those recipes! I love em!

Onion and Cheddar Burgers

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2008
ok for starters it took longer to cook by a long shot. It took me 25 or 30 minutes to cook these. Yes, it was messy and it was hard to flip them because they fell apart. I didn't expect a real cheesy flavor considering how much the recipe calls for so that was not too much of a downfall. I was looking for a simple and quick recipe that was different from our average, unfortunately it was plain average. it was not bad tasting by any means, but it was not above average of a broiled burger. My 2 year old daughter didn't like it because it looked funny, but she's only two so that can be expected. My husband is a horrible critic, but he said it was average. He liked the taste, but it needed more of something to put different flavor. I recomend this recipe if your looking for a simple broiled burger that is juicy. But if your like me and need a different flavor in life this recipe doesn't cut it.

This was as stated a very basic recipe. I added a container of mushrooms and served it over egg noodles. It was very bland and soupy. I will be trying Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff III next in my search for the perfect stroganoff to add to my rotation.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2008
Very good, just what I was looking for in a meatloaf recipe. I used 2 lb of meat and 1 full sleeve of saltines and left out the ginger. I also added the brown sugar/ketchup to the top as per previous reviewer suggestions. It was perfect served with some homemade mashed potatoes!

They didn't get hard or "crusty" for me they were kindof like soggy sweet potato rolled in sweet breading. My husband said he liked them but I don't really believe him. Will not make again!

Cider-Roasted Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2007
I ended up having to cook this like 7 hours I think because I put it on a higher rack instead of the bottom one. After I put it on the bottom it finished up rather quickly. It was very moist and the veggies made it appealing. The skin under the bacon was not very good though.

Butternut Squash Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2007
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this recipe and I am NOT a big soup fan. I thought it would be nice to have a soup with christmas - it was easy to make once you get the squash cubed (which no small feat!). My husband thought it was too rich (I used 2 packages cream cheese) so maybe next time I will use only 1. It did taste amazing with only 1 package I just wanted to increase the volume so I added the second. Thanks for this amazing soup recipe!

Very spicy, but it definately adds a good bite and makes it much more interesting (and yummy) than biting into a big old mushroom. I really liked this and will probably make again.

These were awesome! I sprinkled colored sugar on these after cutting them out but they would be equally delicious with some frosting which I will definately try. They held up well to cookie cutters especially after putting in the freezer for 10 minutes.
