 I'm a teacher, and now I'm home schooling our three daughters. My husband is a nurse and works five 12 hour shifts a week...a combination of day and night shifts, so we are thankful for the blessing a home schooling schedule provides. We love having more time to spend as a family, with my hubby's crazy schedule! We are Christians, and we are blessed that our daughters love and serve Jesus, too.

Double Layer Pumpkin Cheesecake

I made a ground pecan crust instead but this cheesecake is so good. It was easy and turned out perfect, not a single crack. So creamy with just the right amount of pumkin and spice.

Spinach Salad Supreme

Really good. I doubled the recipe and it was just a bit too much vinegar so next time I won't add quite as much. Otherwise I will make this many more times.
