Applesauce Muffin Mix

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2008
Great basic, fluffy and tasty muffin. I needed to feed the in-laws on the fly with stuff in my cupboard, and they just ooed and aawed, and ate every last muffin! I added craisins, a pinch of nutmeg and a crumble top with pecans before baking. The great thing about this recipe is that the possibilities are endless, just throw in whatever you've got to jazz em up and you've got your new favorite muffin recipe! Thanks a ton!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie IV

I made this pie along with 17 others for Thanksgiving this year. It was gone in under 5 minutes. Everyone was surprised to learn how simple it was to make. Very rich! I should have made 2!

Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2006
HOLY COW! This recipe made my husband ooh and ahh and say such things as "You are the most wonderful wife in the world!" and "How did you do it?!" We left out the mushrooms, but did everything else as the recipe instructed. Ten million times better than store bought and just as good as a fancy restaurant! It's in my recipe box PERMANENTLY! :)

Frosting for German Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Jun. 18, 2006
This was a yummy frosting that topped our cake nicely, but it was lacking that extra something special that I'm looking for that you find in bakery GC frosting. Wonderful though and quite easy!

German Brotchen Rolls

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2006
This was a fantastic recipe! I loved it; like having a butter boat! =) My family likes soft rolls though and so, I won't make too often seeing as not too many get eaten by anyone but myself. However, I fed them to extended family and neighbors who ate them with enthusiam. Kudos to Holly!

Snickerdoodles V

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2006
What a perfect cookie to make when you don't have many ingredients on hand! Just a note: I added 2 tsp vanilla, omitted salt, used half butter and half butter flavored crisco. They turned out nice and soft, but still had a good texture on the outside. Company even said they tasted just like the scnickerdoodles you buy at Hogi Yogi!

Truck-Stop Buttermilk Pancakes

Reviewed: May 31, 2006
Flippin good! The best pancakes ever. I didn't have buttermilk so I added lemon juice to the milk for a substitution-still turned out great. I also halfed the recipe, and it was still way to much for my family. It'll be nice to have them again in a couple of days! ; )

Sweet and Sour Sauce II

Reviewed: May 11, 2006
A+ It turned out perfect...my husband raved and my picky 2 year old devoured it up! Make sure and take a small portion of the water and mix with cornstartch first before adding to rest of mixture, and it will turn out clump-free! Thanks for sharing such a wonderful recipe!
