Apricot Chicken III

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2009
This chicken didn't have much flavor, I don't know if it needed to marinate or what. We will try this again with peaches.

Bread Machine Pumpernickel Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2009
This bread is delicious. I've made it twice. Left out the caraway because I don't like it, and on the first attempt I didn't have any bread flour, so I replaced it with all purpose flour. It came out great anyway. Tastes great with a little butter, or dipped in hot tomato soup.

Traditional Mashed Potatoes

My family couldn't even wait for the burgers to be done before eating these. I used the recipe as stated however I did melt the butter and added 2 cloves of garlic and about 1/4 cup heavy cream.

Di's Delicious Deluxe Deviled Eggs

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2009
Deviled eggs are awesome...because you pretty much season them to taste...and you can add all kinds of things just depending on whether you like them salty, sweet, zesty, spicy....and the list goes on....yummy, simple recipe.

Swedish Meatballs I

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2009
I made this for a friend who was visiting. His mom always used to make Swedish Meatballs with mashed potatoes, so I agreed to give it a shot. I used Italian bread crumbs instead of the cream of wheat and I didn't add any onion. I also doubled the recipe, because we were having several other people over. I don't think the recipe doubled well, the sauce was a little too runny and the meatballs took about 10 extra minutes to cook. Despite all that, we still really enjoyed these. They were very tasty and the sauce was yummy. Went well with both mashed potatoes and noodles!

Delicious! We decided to put these on the grill and grilled them for about 25 minutes (we made a smaller batch). Easy, yet amazing!

Ratatouille Pasta

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2009
I made this tonight and it was great. I did substitute yellow squash for zucchini and left out the tomatoe paste because I did not want to open a can for such a small amount. I left the onions out as well using onion powder (too many small children eating it)

This is one of my boyfriend's favorite chicken recipes. I usually add a little extra steak sauce and a dash or two of worcestershire sauce. I also leave some extra sauce on the side for him to use for dipping, too!
