Sunflower Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed on Dec. 14, 2009 by Amy
I LOVE these cookies! I omitted the coconut, since I didn't have any. I'm not usually an oatmeal cookie fan, but I had some sunflower seeds that really needed to be used up, and nothing to put them in. The first batch I followed exactly. The second batch, however, I put almond extract instead of vanilla, and chocolate chips to add a little sweetness for the sweet-tooths in the family. Wonderful recipe! I'll be keeping it in my recipe box from now on. :) Thank-you so much for sharing!

Easy Cheesy Cream of Broccoli Soup

Reviewed on Dec. 9, 2009 by Amy
I thought the base for this recipe was really good, but I did change a few things. I added almost double the milk because it was way too thick for my liking. I also tossed in some onion powder (its like my secret ingredient for everything). I also ended up using regular shredded cheddar cheese, because I didn't have processed in the house. I think next time I'll add some ham or chicken... There are a lot of possibilities!
