Happyhouse Comfy Cozy Beef Stew

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2009
AWESOME!! It smelled so delish cooking all day, it was really hard to wait until dinner time! I picked up some bread bowls at the store and it paired with this really well. The hubs really approved of this meal and can't stop talking about it!! I used 1/2C Water and 1/2C Merlot! I forgot to add the celery and it was still wonderful! I did add about 1/2C Beef Broth about 1hr before it was done so there would be enough broth for the leftovers, as the hubs LOVES broth! Thanks Happywife005! I will be making this over and over :)

Pretzel Turtles

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2009
Quick & Easy and way cheaper than the store bought Turtles! I used the Snap Pretzels & Rolos! I assembled everything at one time so the pecans would be nice and toasted! Followed the 300 degree for 4 minutes and it was PERFECT!! I also stuck them in the fridge for around 30 minutes to hurry the cooling process. I made as many as I could get onto one pan and they were gone in no time!! Thanks for the EXCELLENT recipe! Will make for Christmas plates and many times for my family!!

Ricotta Gnocchi

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2009
**Rating for Gnocchi Only**This was my first time making homemade gnocchi. It was good, easy to make and filling! I had some ricotta left over and was looking for a way to use it up when I found this recipe. I had to add about 1/4 cup more flour. I also didn't have fresh parm so I used the parm in the can and it was still great. Thanks for the great recipe. Will make again and try the sauce too.

Smooth and Creamy Peanut Butter Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2009
WOW! This is wonderful! It isn't heavy like some PB pies are. It's very light and airy and doesn't make you feel overly full. I took advice from MySweetCreations and added chopped up Reese's and Chocolate Syrup. I picked up the 8oz CoolWhip and didn't realize until I was making it that I was short 4oz. It didn't matter, everything still turned out and it was gobbled up at Thanksgiving! I will be making this many more times. Thanks for the great recipe! :)

Zippy Summer Shrimp

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2009
Delicious! A perfect meal....zippy summer shrimp with brown rice and fresh green beans. I have five kiddos and they love this recipe. My son wants it for his Birthday meal. I did not use as much lemon as it calls for and added more garlic. Per the recipe's name..it is zippy. I love it...but have used less red pepper flakes for the kiddos. Excellent, healthy recipe! :)

French Onion Soup III

My hubs actually made this one. He's the French Onion Fan in the house. We both thought it was good. Only change we made was subbed Provolone Cheese for the Swiss cheese because that's what we had at home. Will make again

No-Cook Never-Fail Fudge

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2009
WOW! This was seriously the best and most creamy fudge I've ever had! My hubby actually made this recipe. He thought I was crazy to even suggest it and he was very heistant because he LOVES his own fudge recipe! But he LOVED IT as well! We didn't tell anyone what was in it and they all loved it as well. After we told them the secret ingredient they didn't believe us and kept on eating it! We 1/2 the recipe down and I recommend doing that as well! VERY easy to make! This is definitely going on the Christmas plates! Thanks for a great fudge recipe!!

Pineapple Cheese Salad

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2009
As odd as this combination seems, it comes out tasting pretty good. (I've only had it with the cheese once, since I have chosen to leave it out) I like to make it without the cheese, and using pineapple tidbits or crushed pineapple and use it to top a pineapple coconut cheesecake recipe I have, or I make a trifle with this, cake chunks, and whipped cream.

Happyhouse Slow Cooker Chicken Tacos!

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2009
This was super easy and really good. It cooked for 10hours (by the time I got home from work) before I could shred it. I then let it cook another hour after it was shredded to absorb the flavor! My son kept shoveling it in! The hubs said it could def be a keeper for Taco Tuesday in our house! Thanks Happywife05

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough + Cupcake = The BEST Cupcake. Ever.

These were so GOOD! I did have a small issue with the cookie dough, but I live at a high altitude and have issues with Chocolate Chip Cookies! But they still tasted great (just didn't rise up)! Next time I think I'll use my tried-and-true recipe for the cookie! I also made these a second time with devils food cake and my peanut butter cookie recipe! Thanks for a great and versitle recipe! My family LOVES them! I was eating them breakfast *grin*

Beef Tips

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2009
This was really good. I threw everything in the crockpot with the exception of the oil, salt and last cup of water. I waited until about 30minutes before dinner and threw the brown gravy packet in with a tiny bit of flour. It thickened up very nice. It cooked for around 10-11 hours and wasn't salty at all. We served it over mashed taters and the hubby and I were fighting for the leftovers. I think it would be a great start to a shepards pie!! Thanks for the recipe

Irish Cream Chocolate Cheesecake

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2009
I have not made this exact recipe, but I have one similar to this that I have made for years, and the main differences are the recipe I use has more Irish Cream and instead of the cocoa powder, you mix an amount of the cheesecake "batter" with melted chocolate chips, then swirl that into the rest of the pan before baking. Another variation I have used a few times is white chocolate, and added a bit of green food coloring to swirled in amount. Every time I've made this cheesecake, it disappears and I never have left overs to take home! You really should read all the tips (and reviews) on a good cheesecake if you haven't made them before. Greasing the pan, using a waterbath, and cooling it slowly are very important, but I would certainly say give it a try! It's worth it. Thanks for posting this recipe!

Eileen's Spicy Gingerbread Men

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2009
Thus far, my first batch of these did spread... I'm going to freeze the second pan for a bit before baking in hopes that they hold their shape better. Besides that, these had a wonderful taste, and I made sure to watch them carefully as they baked so they didn't overcook and turn into gingersnaps. When making the dough, I added an extra 1/4 cup of flour and some extra ginger and cinnamon and cut the clove in half. I may add close to an extra 1/2 cup flour next time. Overall, Yummy! Who needs icing?

No Bake Chocolate Oat Bars

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2009
Very quick, easy dessert. I doubled the recipe to make a 9x13 pan, & took the tips of using 1/2 c. less butter. I'm glad I did b/c the crust would have been far too greasy with more butter. I also made a thicker crust so only 1/3 of the oat mix went on top. Just thought it looked prettier to seem some of the chocolate.

Cheesy Ham and Hash Brown Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2009
Yummy. My aunt made this the last time I went to visit, but I didn't get the recipe from her, and I was hoping this was the same one. From the wonderful taste, I think I found it. I made this for dinner tonight and the kids loved it. I did add some pepper to the recipe, replaced the parmesan cheese with some extra cheddar and I didn't measure the hash browns but used over half of a 64 oz. bag. This will definately be added to our normal menu!
