About me:
I am married, and a proud dog mom (no actual human children)! I work as an admin for a large luxury residence club in Denver. I love to cook, but don't always have the energy as I work a lot of hours. So anything that is good, healthy fast - I am all about it!

Butternut Squash Soup

Reviewed on Oct. 13, 2009 by foodie71
To Die For!!! I made this last fall, and twice in the last week. Everyone raves over this soup. So good and rich. Smooth and creamy. Warms you up on fall nights. I follow the recipe exactly as written. I always use all the cream cheese. I plan on making this as a vegetarian option at my Halloween chili party this year. I will be making a double batch though, because I will guarantee you every non-veggie will want it too!! I use an immersion blender and blend it right in the pot. Velvety smooth. :)

Perfectly soft and chewy! I follow the recipe exactly as written. No more brick hard ginger cookies! A keeper for sure! Watch out, they won't last long in your house!!

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Reviewed on Oct. 13, 2009 by foodie71
Just as the name declares... These ARE the best rolled sugar cookies! So perfect! I always follow the recipe exactly as written. They bake beautifully thick and nice, stay the nice light color without browning. My one and only sugar cookie recipe. Decorated perfectly with the "sugar cookie icing by JBS BOX" Christmas cookies will never be the same in my house again! So beautiful you almost hate to eat them! Almost :)
