Chicken Pot Pie IX

This was fabulous. I have made it with leftover chicken and leftover turkey. They were both delicious and I got quite a few compliments. This will become a staple at our house.

This was pretty good. It was a little dry, but I might have over cooked it. It definatly needed nuts though. The spice was very good.

Chocolate Truffle Cookies

DELICIOUS! This was a great recipe. If you don't like chocolate, this is not the recipe for you. But, I happen to LOVE chocolate and I LOVED these cookies! Didn't and wouldn't change a thing! Thanks for sharing.

Cheese Ball I

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2009
Just made this for a bridal shower for a friend. Everyone loved them. Made "individual" balls instead of one large ball. Rave reviews! Be sure to finely grind the pecans to get the best coating. If making "individual" balls, it's best to roll the balls in your hand with the pecans. Thanks for a great recipe!

Italian Appetizer - Bagna Cauda

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2009
I made this for a wedding shower and it was terrible. I had several people try it before I served it, and they didn't like it either. We ended up having to run out to buy Ranch dressing to serve with all the vegies instead. Sorry, but this was a no-go.

Moist Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2009
This was a good recipe. The flavor was good as was the recommended cooking time. I did however not saute the onions before hand and per the other reviewers suggestions, I used 1/2 the amount of bread crumbs. I will be using this recipe again.

Chicken Divan

Reviewed: May 15, 2009
This wasn;t good at all. My husband thought it was ok. I was only able to eat it with saltines crumbled on it, my husband put italian crutonson his. I don't know HOW people thought it was too runny, mine was almost like paste. It tasted like I was eating condensed chicken soup out of the can. To be fair, I've never eaten chicken dian before, maybe it's just not for us.

Tomatillo Salsa Verde

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2009
I modified this to make it into "salsamole". I used red onions, subbed some of the water with chicken broth, and added a diced Anaheim pepper to the simmering mix. Once it was liquefied in the blender, I added an avocado. It came out delicious!

Chicken Piccata with Artichoke Hearts

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2009
This came out really well- but I did reduce the amount of capers, and I used fresh oregano in the dredging mix (I put it in the food processor to make sure it was smooth). Next time I might try adding cream to the sauce, and sub lemon rind for the lemon juice. Even as is, this was very good, and it made a lot of food.

That was delicious! I served it with steamed, buttery asparagus on the side. A very hearty, rich meal. I did, however, cut the gorgonzola substantially.

This was so awesome! I cooked it on low in a crockpot for about 6 hours, and added some thyme and ground peppercorns. Juicy, flavorful, and I even got my boyfriend to eat eggplant!

Chicken Cashew Salad
