Campbell's® 15-Minute Chicken and Rice Dinner

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2009
My family and I love this, infact we just finished eating it. People have to understand, you need to season that chicken as you are browning it. We use garlic powder, seasoning salt and some black pepper, on the chicken. Make sure to stir all that good browned flavor stuck to the bottom of your pot in when you and the soups and liquid . Yes I said pot, I find that cooking in a pot allows the liquid to cover up that rice better and allow for a better absorption of all that liquid goodness. Just seems like preparing this recipe in a skillet only drys out the liquid faster and the rice tends to be on the less cooked side. We exchange chicken broth instead of water. Lastly, on top of all the ingredients listed in the recipe, I use a cup of Half & Half. It makes it extra creamy, and you will be fighting the rest of the family for seconds...

Cheesy Chicken Meatballs

This was fantastic! I really had my doubts and everything was yummy. I followed the recipie almost to the letter. I didn't have the Garlic cream cheese on hand so I used regular cream cheese. It still had lots of flavor and kids loved it! Thanks

Beef Fried Rice

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2009
This saved me in a pinch! We are on a tight budget and not only did I have all these ingredients in the fridge my picky kiddos ate it all! I only added four tbls of soy sauce not five as some other. I did add green bell pepper and I sauted them with the onion before adding it to the rice. SO GOOD! Thanks so much, this is a keeper!

Best Ever Banana Bread

Reviewed: May 27, 2009
If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would!!! It was great!!! I added a little vanilla, but otherwise followed the recipe. It didn't take quite that long to cook, but I think that my loaf pan was a little smaller than what the recipe called for because I had enough batter to make six muffins too. No big deal though. I baked the muffins for about 20-25 min. and the loaf about 55-60 minutes!!! I have used a lot of banana bread recipes, but this is the best!!!! Thanks!!

Really Creamy Fettuccine Alfredo

Reviewed: May 27, 2009
My whole family loved this recipe!! I didn't have nutmeg or basil, so I just spiced it up with garlic powder, pepper and some italian seasoning blend and it was fine. I guess I don't really know if the nutmeg and basil would have made it taste different, but it was still good and very easy to make. Thank you!!!

Pork Chops 'n' Pierogies

Reviewed: May 27, 2009
This one was just okay for me. My husband thought it was good but my kids didn't care for it at all. So I guess over all from my family it was so-so. I just didn't think that the pierogies went well with the flavor and pork chops. I would make it again without the pierogies and I think it would be better just as a pork chop dish. Thanks!!!

Oatmeal and Applesauce Pancakes

Reviewed: May 27, 2009
I loved this recipe. I used regular sour cream and sweetened applesauce because that's all I had and I added a little brown sugar, but other than that I followed the recipe. My kids loved them and didn't even want syrup!! That's when you know it's a good pancake, when you don't have to smother it in syrup!!! It tasted fantastic all by itself!!! Thanks!!!

Awesome!!! I didn't put the nuts or coconut in it though. My family isn't fond of them. I also used frosted flakes because I didn't have corn flakes. Added some chocolate chips because I took out the other ingredients. They turned out great and my family loved them. Thanks!!!

Salt and Vinegar Chicken

Reviewed: May 14, 2009
Very easy to make and it turned out great!!! It's not too salty or too vinegary. (is that even a word? :0 ) It crisps up very nice. I put it on broil for a few minutes to make it crisp up faster but I'm sure it would have done fine without broiling it. I was just impatient!! Anyway, enjoy, it's good and simple!!

Salmon Patties II

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2009
This was good. Now, I'm a southern girl so I like my food to taste like the food I'm cookin. This was perfect because there weren't a bunch of ingredients to overpower the salmon. I did add onions and used Italian Bread Crumbs instead of flour.
