Beef Tips

I made this exactly. This was super yummy and talk about easy! Lots of flavor. I would cut back on the pepper next time. I also had to add a cup of water about 1 hour after cooking as most of the liquid had cooked down. I cooked it for 1 1/2 hours and it was nice and tender. I also added a package of fresh mushrooms. Made it in my electric skillet. Served over egg noodles. This is a keeper. Will try it with rice next time.

Pumpkin Gingerbread

Reviewed on Nov. 2, 2009 by holcomb1298
I love the way this made my house smell!! It was so easy to change for healthier a little as well. I used 100% fresh ground whole wheat flour in place of all of the all purpose flour (add a smidge more baking powder and baking soda), along with applesauce instead of oil (added a small splash of Canola Oil) and changed the sugar into 1 cup white, 1 cup brown and 1/2 cup Mollasses (decrease the water by just a smidge since you add a bit of liquid this way)... perfect for gingerbread! We also used fresh pureed pie pumpkin that we roasted the day before. Awesome!!

Mushroom Pork Chops

Reviewed on Nov. 2, 2009 by ROSIESTOES
We really liked this recipe. It was easy to prepare and was super yummy. I made this in my electric skillet. The only changes I made was to add a fifth pork chop and an extra can of mushroom soup so we had plenty of gravy for mashed potatoes.
