Honey Pork with Peppers

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2008
Great recipe! Sweet but not overly sweet, it was just right. I substituted turkey gravy for the brown gravy packet since its all i had, and added some mushrooms. I will definantly make this again!

Best Beef and Broccoli

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2008
This is the easiest really good recipe! I have been making this for at least 3 yrs, since I joined allrecipes. Its quick, tasty and a staple in my home. I change it up all the time adding different veggies or brown sugar for more of a teriyaki flavor. The way to make a cheap cut of steak stay tender is to cut against the grain of the meat and let the whole dish simmer for about a half hour. Its a family fave with the pickiest eater asking for seconds.

Easy Pizza Sauce I

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2008
I used half the water and my sauce was still very thin. Next time I will only use about a cup or so of water. Very tasty though and you have enough for about two pizzas.

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2008
Very good, but it still doesn't beat my mother's lasagna (she is half italian). Very meaty and rich, perfect for large parties or potlucks and relatively easy as far as lasagna goes.

Spinach Cheese Tortellini

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2008
Very very good. I did find that I had lots of sauce so next time I plan on cutting back a little on how much sauce I make, but a lovely recipe nonetheless. I skipped the mushrooms, but kept everything else and the colors from the tomato and the spinach look beautiful together. Also very good leftover so it's okay to make a lot of it.

Famous Butter Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2008
This recipe was amazing! I followed it exactly, the chicken was so moist and the crumb coating was excellent. I loved the flavors and I plan to pass it on to my mom so she can make. Very easy and worth it!

Very tasty and easy to make. Perfect for anyone who has a busy schedule because you can just make up some patties, freeze them, and then cook them when you need to.

French Baguettes

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2008
An excellent recipe with great taste, however, I did make some errors. I accidentally added the yolk to the dough, but my bread still turned out great and I just brushed it with the egg white. I also didn't realize my yeast was expired, so my bread did not rise as much as it should have, but it was still excellent and everyone loved it. I can't wait to try this again and do it the right way! lol

Jay's Signature Pizza Crust

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2008
Very very good! I didnt realize the dough would rise so much, so my crust was very thick and next time I will make sure to roll it much thinner, but still excellent. A hit with the family and I plan to make again! A keeper.

Restaurant-Style Buffalo Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2008
These were excellent, but I did make some changes just for the sake of saving time. I coated the wings in the flour and only let them sit for 20 minutes because of a time crunch, then I deep fried them for only 5 minutes, then I stuck them onto a cookie sheet and baked them because I prefer my wings baked. I baked them at 375 for about 40 minutes until they were done, coated them in sauce, and the turned the broiler on and stuck them in for about 5 minutes to give them added crunch. They were excellent and next time I will try sticking more closely to the recipe, but I will definitely make again!

Fast and Easy Tofu Lo-Mein

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2008
This was very good and very quick. I used one oriental and one chicken flavored noodle soup mix. Added a bit of water when heating everything together in the pan. I did freeze and thaw the tofu before use. I also used peanut oil and chopped garlic when browning the tofu. YUMMY !!!

No Bake Cookies V

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2008
First time I made these, they didn't set and were gooey and sticky. They tasted good so I thought I would try it again. I read the reviews and I tried again. This time they came out crumbled and brittle. So I give up, I'm sure if you can get them right they would be wonderful, but 4 cups of sugar later, I'll stick to the ones I put in the oven.
